Hot-linking without permission is forbidden
Direct linking (hot-linking, using a site's url - http:'//...etc....to have an image shown) to one of the images/avatars on this or an other website without the permission of the site owner or the host/server is forbidden, it is considered to be theft of bandwidth.
After you have received permission to use an image, you have to save the image to your own (hard)disc by right-clicking on the image and upload that saved file to your own server of host, so you are using your own bandwidth. If a host or server gives you permission to use his bandwidth, then there is no theft of bandwidth.
