It doesn't necessarily mean a wing is fragile... I guess I just feel uncomfortable with my wing close to an enemy.
And why would you use a wing claw, if you can simply use your front legs, or hind legs? That way, the wings are not in the way. |

In my opinion, you can never have too many weapons to help you win. But I understand where you're coming from. It's not everyone's preference to use their wings in battle, but it is mine. And if you used them correctly, I'm sure they wouldn't get in the way (Of course, things don't always go according to plan in a fight, as many of us know.). I'm not saying it's always the best natural weapon initially, but with a little extra training the advantages of having a wing claw will definitely reveal themselves.
Also, as I mentioned earlier, they would be excellent for long ranged attacks where your fangs, claws, or tail might not be able to reach in time (and as far as your fangs go, I don't think it's the best idea to shove your head right at your opponent who, if also a dragon, is equally as equiped as you. ). I think it would be a little smarter to keep the adversary at a distance rather than fight close quarters. _________________ Live simply, so that others may simply live.

You can if they start getting in the way of each other. _________________ DeviantArt Page.

*laughs* no use having weapons that get in the way. I have no real good answer as we all have so many oppinions. But I always just guessed maybe it was something left over from there evolution, or perhaps they used to cling to things. _________________ "24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? That's why you need to learn how to use them. Practice makes perfect. _________________ Live simply, so that others may simply live.
