The New testiment is a completely different work from the old testiment. It is the collected works of a few of the apostiles and desplays their opinions and views. There is proof of the aposiles. So it would imply that there was a real jesus.

My heroes are mostly people who invented things that changed the world as we know it, there is no room to see it in any greater light then it is. Seeing that their inventions arent based on opinions but facts.. Even the effect those inventions had on the world is documented and well known.
And how does proof of people writing the bible mean that Jesus existed and especially, how does it prove that Jesus actually did all those things ?.
Proof isnt based on the amount of people who write or say something.
So why are history books seen as proof of our history you ask ??
Well first of all, even history books contain mistakes, all books do, so its normal, second, everything written about in history books is reproduceable, every condition, every situation and every action/reaction is able to be reproduced today..
That is also the definition of science. If something in science cant be reproduced, it cant be proven, hence it is not fact untill proven otherwise..
The bible has tons and tons of things that man cannot reproduce, and even if they coul somehow, it would be completely out of the bible's context and thus wouldnt count as a reproduction of the full situation.. Meaning it still wouldnt count as proof.
No matter how many people write about one person, it doesnt mean what they write is true.. a hundred people could be writing about some Joo hong in china performing miracles (I'm making this one up, but please look into cults that are active in the world, you'll see many people doing many miracles written about by many people) but it doesnt mean that Joo hong actually did any of those things... It doesnt prove anything.
So even if Jesus existed, how does that prove that he did miracles ? |

If life began from Adam and Eve how could Jesus just come about when the bible states that two seperate sexes create an individual? That is really just going back on what they said originally ( with Adam and Eve). Im not a faith person (eg church and religion) as I think there are far too many contradictions.
I do how ever believe that there has to be some truths behind a legend or a story, otherwise how would it come about? I cant say that it actually wholely represents the original truth but parts could be changed and made more extreme to appeal to a whole range of people.
Miracles do happen, but I dont think they can go to those extremes, if it where true how come there hasnt been another miracle like it? Prehaps then it could be more believeable, with people to whitness it too. |

When saying "Adam and Eve" , remember that they represent mankind in it's early stages, and not individuals.
Why aren't there any miracles like that any more?
I could write a whole article on the subject, but I'd find it a waste of time to write it. Also, it could quickly turn into a flame-fest so I'm not even going to get into that.
Just ask yourself this - because religion (in this case Christianity) stresses faith as the most important, would faith be tested if the miracles were of THAT magnitude?
I belive it was done once. It needn't be done a second time. If you believe, you beleive, if not - no problem. It's not like you're going to jail because of it
