My love and I could not wait to read the next book of this series, so we e-mailed Troop to see when we might expect it. Unfortunately, his publisher has declined to make any more contracts for that series.
Surprised by his quick responce, we asked if replies from Delasangre readers might change the pulisher's mind. We have yet to get a reply to this...but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help out? They are really good books, and you can find more info on them at www.DragonNovels.com _________________ Here I lay, my claws and tail at peace. I rest my eyes and begin to sleep. My mate and I read the books as well (Actually we met through a discussion group of these very books) and it saddens me that the series has reached its cap.
I e-mailed Troop a while back myself and got the same response, Supposedly he is planning to move onto other projects, sadly not related to dragons.
Regardless, the character of Peter strikes very close to home, and my mate describes me as a very similar version of him, right down to the bright green eyes.
Regardless, they are essential reads for dragon lovers, easily comparable in quality to the Anne Rice Vampire novels. |
