| Just yesterday i found a very promising looking game called Fireborn, a pen and paper rpg, with an interesting dual setting system and lets you play as BOTH a human with a dragon soul and powers known as a scion in modern times, and participate in memory flashbacks to the epic mythic age of the time he was a full blown dragon. Its very approachable, though i have yet to get a group together to give it a proper try. Also, scattered throughout are interesting tidbits of actual dragon lore and mythology, which is a very nice little bonus. |

I guess that game must be expensive. _________________ The Brave and Daring

Actually not really, i found the players and game masters books (The only ones out) for 14 dollars total at a half price store, and to be honest i would gladly have paid the full 40 dollar price that they would be together in a typical bookstore.
If you get the chance, i promise you wont regret at least trying it out.
Also, I'm pondering the idea of starting an online Fireborn group, but we're getting off topic so I'll probably start a thread on it separate sometime soon. |

Aside from the books found in the library part of the site, you have:
Redeeming the Lost - Elizabeth Kerner
Dragon Champion, Dragon Avenger, and Dragon Outcast (Coming out in December!) - E. E. Knight
Eragon and Eldest - Christopher Paolini
Dragon's Milk, Sign of the Dove, and Flight of the Dragon Kyn - Susan Fletcher
Dragon and the George - Gordon R. Dickson
Dragon of the Lost Sea, Dragon Steel, Dragon Cauldron, and Dragon War - Laurence Yep
And any books by Anne or Todd McCaffrey that happen to not be listed (there's quite a few! )
I think that's just about it... If I think of any more I'll add to the list. |

Just got two books that caught my intrest today.
"THe Dragon DelaSangre"
"The Sea Dragons Daughter"
both by Alan F. Troop
Here is a copy of the first books back.
FOR CENTURIES THEY HAVE LIVED AMONG US
A secret race as old as time, they have inspired our greatest legends, our grimmest fairy tales, and our grandest nightmares. Changelings by day, and slayers at dark, they call themselves people of the blood. Mankind calls them dragons, But few have survived to this day, and none have stepped forward to tell there story, until now.
THE DRAGON DELASANGRE SPEAKS
Here at last are the private confessions of one Peter Delasangre... of his isolated youth on an island off the coast of Miami... of the pleasures he finds in fortune, fine art and music, and the hunt for human prey... of his lonely balancing act between the worlds of humans and dragons, neither of which feels like home...and of the overwhelming need that will finally give his life purpose:to find a female of his own kind.
Two games I know of that I like are
"DrakanGard 1&2"
They are hack and slash games for the PS2, i always liked the first one better. _________________ "24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not."

I'm currently reading Dragon DelaSangre. It's pretty interesting, you can definitely tell the main character isn't human. It does have mature content, so I wouldn't recommend it to the younger folk. _________________ DeviantArt Page.

Im half way through the book now. Did not realize it had mature content in it until I started reading *coughs* Very explicit stuff. I love the way the writer does it, but I hate the main guy, acutally I hate all the dragons in the book. *laughs* Im only reading it so I can see the dragons get what they have coming to them.
I can understand eating people somtimes. but they just love the taste of them to much for me to like them. Man I hope that dragon gets whats coming to him.. _________________ "24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not."

Well, at least the main character cared somewhat. Still, it wouldn't bode well for them... _________________ DeviantArt Page.
