I love ramen. And I want to know who else loves it. So all you ramen lovers can come here and say why you like ramen, ramen stories, favorite type of ramen, anything!
To start of, my 2 favorite types of ramen are beef and chicken flavors! _________________ Live simply, so that others may simply live.

Hmm, not sure if this needs to be in "Dragon laughs"... I gues this is okay if the mods agree.
Unfortunately, in the Netherlands, we don't have ramen, so I really don't know what it is. I only did a quick wiki search, but that's about it XD.
Ah, wait, I just read it is instant noodles, we have that, but under a completely different name.
I don't like noodles. Together with rice and everything that is chinese food.
So I think it isn't smart for me to post in this topic.
Okay I'll hush now. |

Beef and chicken flavors? You're basing this thread on the INSTANT version!?
Admittedly, I like the instant kind too, but the freshly made ones that you can get in restaurants here are much better. There are also some restaurants around here that make nothing but ramen.
I don't really have a favorite kind of ramen, but the shoyu (soy sauce) base a definate #1. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

Unfortunatly, I dont' have any resturants within a 2 hours drive that serves up non-instant ramen. So I've pretty much grown a taste for it. _________________ Live simply, so that others may simply live.

I'd have to say any of the spicy stuff. I love lime and shrimp, chicken, chilli, and cheddar. _________________ "Don't mind the tail, he has a mind of his own..." |

I've had real ramen before, I didn't find it really any different, accept that it takes a lot lobger than 3 minutes on a stove to cook. In mine, it was all home made, the broth, the noodles were ramen of course, bits of chicken, some egg, Bokchoi, and wasabi and chicken flavered sauce. it just has more flavor to it _________________ "Don't mind the tail, he has a mind of his own..."

Instant ramen... deep fried and quick to make salt-filled goodness
I've never had the opportunity to have "real" ramen unfortunatly. I wish I could try it at some point, but I'll probably have to break down and figure otu a way to make it at home. My favorite of the instant kind is miso flavored. Yummy!!!! Close second is probably the maruchan roast beef type. _________________ "People who are easily offended need to be offended more often."
