I'm not entirly sure if this constitutes as appropriate, though I'm strictly using this as a means of informational study and curiousity more thaen what others might think.

What do you think about Dragon matting? What Information do you all have on how they eprform matting rituals. I want to know all the different ways, as well as what species does what?

And yes, this is meant to be a seriuos discussion, not some funny topic for perverted answers or fetishes.

I think the mating of dragons is the same as the mating of dinosaurs. But we hardly know how dinosaurs mated and we know even less about dragons in general. Most say dragons are reptiles but some also claim that certain dragons had fur or skin and gave birth to live young. Personally, i don't think these creatures can be classified as (earth) dragons but for now let's say they are dragons. So this would mean that mating is probably different from specie to specie. And some dragons like the Lindorm didn't even had 4 limbs. So the mating of a lindorm would not be the same as the mating of a "normal" western dragon. (I guess it would be more like that of a snake.) So first of all, you should specify a specie.
There isn't much info about dragon mating, so everything in this topic will be nothing but speculation and fantasy. I do know a bit about Chinese dragon mating but most of those stories are quite odd. Chinese dragons would also mate with other animals and even humans (they could turn themselves into humans after all.) When a Chinese dragon mated a horse, a racehorse would be born. When a Chinese dragon mated a pig, an elephant would be born and the Chinese emperors loved to say they had dragon ancestors. I've also heard that Chinese dragons would summon mist while mating to protect their mate (and privacy?), but i'm not sure if that comes from a reliable source. Some Chinese dragons also evolved from fish.
Personally, i consider the dragon to be more of a spiritual creature instead of an animal. So in that case, "reproduction" might not even be needed.

I understand that this topic is for strictly 'question', but this is a family friendly site, and children are here. This is NOT a good topic, and I am sure that the mods will take the courtesy of removing it. It's especially not needed because no one KNOWS how dragons bred, or if they even exist outside of human souls. Google it, or something. Don't ask here where seven year olds have access.

If the discussion stays away from the explicits than it should be fine. Though there is no way to prove anything, discussing mating rituals would be legitimate and we have had such discussions before.

Stay away from penis discussion, though.

If I were a parent, I wouldn't want my child reading about draconic reproductive organs. Mating rituals, fine. I just don't think this is appropriate for the 'family friendly' theme.

Fine mating rituals, whatever they're called.

Well my companions the myth says that dragons acctualy mate in the air and that they both take care of the baby or babies. They say it's the most exciting thing (at least in the myth.)

P.S if someone tells me how do you know this I'm gonna kick him in the @#%! (censored). I read it and I said that it's BY THE MYTH. And I read it in Flight of dragos both Anne Mcafrees and Piter Dickinsons piece.
