Really weird foods...

Ever hear of Lutefisk?

It's a Norwegian fish dish made by soaking fish in lye. It doesn't matter if it's potash or soda lye either... as long as it's lye.

If it isn't done right, the fats in the fish will essentially turn to soap.

I've never heard of it, but the possibility of eating a soapy fish, doesn't sound very appetizing to me. Trust me. Soap is NOT tasty, no matter how much it may look like whipped cream to a three-year-old.

Soapy fish. MMMM. Maybe I should soak my dead fish in lye. Then it doubles as a weapon and a mouthwash Very Happy

Haha...let me guess. Slapping someone with a dead fish, then when they swear from the utter ridiculousness of the situation, shoving it in their mouth to clean the filth from their mouth?
