My newest bathroom reader has a whole section on really weird foods, there's a stew with vegetables and squirrel brains in Kentucky for instance, and in another book the Japanese had invented such wierd icecream flavors like eel, shark, and horseradish (who the heck would eat eel flavored ice cream ) |
they also made squid, horseflesh, and sea water. |

Some of the strangest foods I've eaten were... um no one is eating dinner right now, right?
...Gnats. Not by accident either, I was tired of them trying to fly into my eyes >_< so I just swallowed them. I figured that since they were so small it would be no big deal, and then not until LATER I learned that people in parts of the world regularly ate bugs at meals. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

Well, I've actually eaten soap and glue (not as a snack...I was three and VERY curious).
I convinced a boy in my kindergarten class that the grass on the playground was lettuce, and he ate it.
And (put down your silverware, because this is gross), while not exactly related to this forum, one of my friends had a hangnail on his big toe, and somehow contorted himself so that he could gnaw it off with his teeth. And what's worse is that he had been walking around outside barefoot and didn't bother to wash his foot, first. _________________ I use logic. Deal with it.

Kali (one of my cats) is always chewing on my hair whenever she can. Or my leg. Or my fingers. She'll also eat dust, plastic (especially bubble wrap), loose bits of carpet, and of course cockroaches and moths--the reason that cats were domesticated thousands of years ago.
She's definitely got me beat on this. The weirdest things I've ever eaten aside from those gnats I've only managed to do so by accident. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

Well, to add to my list of weird foods...
I was in marching band in high school, and at a football game, a mosquito managed to fly up my nose, buzz around a while, and then fly out my mouth, later.
One of my cats, Miracle, is obsessed with chewing on my hair just after I wash it. (I let my hair air-dry, so it's still wet when she does this.) _________________ I use logic. Deal with it.
