I stopped taking it a year after I started. the effects are permenant I fear. So long ago too I cant remember what the medicine was called. *scratches head*
Strange how people can label there own perfect vision of what is "normal". What one culture could think of as normal, another would find strange and outlandish. _________________ "24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not."

...i hear many voices, but they might all be the same enitity using different voices. the voices are always familiar. ones i can identify, like classmates, or even my mother. they usually just say my name repeatedly. sometimes, i hear a crowd of them at the same time, saying my name repeatedly. it usually happens when im in a dark, silent place. i dont know why they say my name instead of actually speaking to me, but one incident was so real it scared me. i was helping cut firewood during the winter. my mom's bf, Jed, was running the chainsaw, i was holding the logs in place so he could cut them, and my mom and sister were stacking the cut logs. i was holding one end of a long log while jeed cut the other end. i was far enough from the saw that i knew i wasnt in danger, so i put my head down on my end of the log and closed my eyes, letting the vibrations from the saw run through my head. i suddenly heard my mom say my name, quite clearly and in a tone that i knew meant i was going to get a lecture on putting my head anywhere near a chainsaw, right behind me. i jumped and turned around. there was no one there. my mother had gone into the house about 10 minutes before and hadnt come back out. i asked Jed and my sister if they'd said or heard anything. of course, they hadnt.
also, i sometimes have moments when i can hear extraordinarily well. ill be sitting on my bed, and i can suddenly hear every word of a conversation through my bedroom walls as though the walls didnt exist. it was frightening at first, but then i got used to it and listened intently, wondering what i was going to hear that was important enough for some unknown spirit to amplify it for me.
...i think i talk too much. 0_o _________________ The human life is ridiculously short. Sucks to be them. 0_o |

That thing with imagining your mother's voice has once happened with me. I wasn't really fully awake while doing something (namely, rewiring the TV to another video game console) and I just sorta started thinking "I should finish before Dad gets home." Felt a bit jittery at that point and I could almost imagine hearing him freaking out. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

| I got no voices in my head but I have really annoying thoughts. I can't get my mind to shut up for long, only if I'm very focused on something, and then even sometimes not. this is very annoying as my mind usally says what I DONT want to think. It also gives me trouble getting asleep o_o |

I hear many voices with in my head most are dragon spirits wanting to be reborn. As a spirtualist medium I am used to this. It's better then being all alone. I have learned from Auroara that awakenings happen when you least expect them. There comes a day when lifes not the same as it was yesterday. On that day you learn your destiny it is that which can set you free. _________________ The blood of that which you beleive run deep within, if you feel this then there is no need to doubt. |

Voices... not plural. I 'hear' my own voice, but only as a line of speech. Like a mental thread transforming thought into potential speech.
I also dont imagine pictures, but in the same inner voice as normal thought. I can have several such threads running through my mind, but all are me, and the number of them varies according to how bored I may be at the time.
This is a nucance for trying to draw what I imagine, but I can usually describe things really pretty well, hence my love of Roleplay. |

I hear voices within my mind, out to be honest. I have to ignore them, because with the voices comes images with me.
I'm not sure what my voice is, but i do hear it, and most times the voice comes out and i say it sub-consciously, example;
When I'm singing, it'll say,
"Stop singing to yourself" you can ask my friends and my mother, because Ii start arguing with it, though it seems I'm just talking to myself. I argue with it. I talk to it. It depends, so it's not really words in my head, though sometimes it is, and that's why I'm glad I'm out so often, and not left in the house.
A funny thing is that i was on the phone to my friend Vikkie, talking as if I was taking to myself, then I hear a shout from my mum,
"Your not talking to yourself again are you?" I laugh and my friend does, most of the time I don't even know I'm actually doing it... That's what scares me. And I'm worried I'll one day say something I don't want to... So if I ignore it in my head, it comes out as actual words.
So I can't win.
I'm sorry if that was slightly off topic but I felt like sharing it...
Anybody else get this? And do they know if it's a male or female voice, or a certain animal? Like what you look like as your kin, wondering what your doing because you wouldn't of done it in your past life or something?
Or am I going off on a random type here, where nothing actually makes sense?
((Sorry for the spelling, my keyboards is still messing me around with letters!))

You should hear my parents muttering out entire conversations to themselves. My father even argues with himself out loud.
I think that, in the case of someone NOT speaking to a disembodied entity nearby (or whatever is going on), it's an adaptive mechanism that people use to sort their thoughts out. Sometimes it's easier to get things arranged mentally if someone else is asking us about them. Other times it just feels good to talk to somebody about something we know a lot about and there just isn't anyone available. _________________ The statement below this one is false.
