Zu

[Samariyu]

This is a 7,000 year old Sumerian myth I read about online.

Zu was an ancient dragon who stole the Tablets of Law, which regulated order in the universe, from the god Enlil while the world was still young.
Ninurta, the sun-god, went after Zu to retrieve the tablets. He attacked Zu, killed him, and took back the tablets. Thus Ninurta prevented the world from returning to its primordial chaos.

sounds pretty cool. But why did he steal it, oh....never mind. Dragons love to steal shiny, pretty things and hide it for them selves, but i think he got what he deserved. Stealing from a god...you deserve to die.

Though, Dradolan, remember Ghandi's teaching? (As corrected by Ragnarok), if we saw an eye for an eye the world be blind, and seeing as we don't know the dragon's reason for doing such a thing we wouldn't be able to say this, also maybe the other dragon went to far by killing?

But still, this sounds interesting so i will place it on my list of things to do/read.
