how would one define a dragons hoard? could it be poetry, gold, gems, old writings, teachings, books? what would really define a dragons hoard? the reason why i ask is that i could build my own and share it with a dragon one day. _________________ forever shall i be a dragon friend even though i have not met one. forever let the dragons live free |

Not all dragons hoard, and I for one don't do it just for the sake of hoarding.
If you're referring to hoarding in this life, I just do it, and realize that I've got a hoard later. I hoard shoes, books, earrings, shiny rocks, computer software, etc.
If you're talking about in a dragon life, I've got one word for you: SHINY. I don't remember if I had a hoard or not as an adult (I think I did), but my father had one, because I remember growing up in a cave with lotsa shinies! |

Whenever I was outside in elementary school back in the good old days when recess actually EXISTED, I had a strange habit of picking up sparkly rocks and just keeping them. No one ever understood and all I could explain was that they were sparkly. I've got a huge milky quartz collection back home. Nowadays I hoard a huge collection of various things from books to Magic cards, but the thing I like to collect most is randomness.
And of course, I'll disembowel someone who tries to touch anything and think they can get away with it. But that goes without saying. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

I'll poke your hoard back obviously. *poke*
There's a lot more sentimental value involved in hoarding than monetary... usually. Actually Mom's been stockpiling Magic cards too as another means of funding my college stuff. It's actually a pretty good investment and not many people think of it because it takes TIME for Magic cards to grow valuable enough to be worth selling, and of course most people using the stock market want their money NOW. And of course I have to sift through the cards first to check for ultra-rares like that Jester's Cap I found once. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

Yeah, your bark is worse than your bite. Thought you were gonna disembowel anyone who touched your hoard
And he's right about hoarding for money. I don't hoard things for the sole purpose of monetary gain, or even just for the value of it. Either it's something I just like (i.e. shoes and shiny rocks), or something that has sentimental or historical value. (Yes, I like some antiques.) |

I hoard feathers and statues (plus other works of art). I have a strange obsession with feathers and fantasy art. _________________ Live simply, so that others may simply live.

I don't NEED to disembowel YOU Celtore. You're discombobulated enough in the head as you are. The only others who touch my stuff without my permission are the cats, and they too are also already scattered all over the house in pieces here and there. Like on all my clothes.
Hasn't been a problem in a while though. In all seriousness I'd probably start with giving the would-be offender "The Stare". Always works. _________________ The statement below this one is false.
