Eldest is the next book in the Eragon series. Does any one know if they are making a movie on that book(Eldest)? if so when is it due to come out?

I would like to know as well. But what I've heard, but I'm not for sure its true, that they may not make the movie because so many people didn't like the movie, Eragon. The only reason I'd like to watch Eldest is to see how they could possibly make it!!

Unless they remake Eragon, Eldest has no chance of becoming a movie. Eragon didn't generate enough revenue in the box office to offset production costs, therefore making the sequel is out of the question. Now take into account the gaping plot holes in the Eragon movie (the lack of characters like Solembum and his prophecy, Elva, Hrothgar, and the Twins to start with, not to mention the Ra'zac got killed off), and Eldest is pretty much impossible.
As for the third book? Sometime in late '08. No title as of yet, and apparently the third book is so long the trilogy is now a quartet.

Wow the third book cover looks bad compared to the first and second. I hope Saphira doesn't get raped by Shruiken. Really.

Okay that's a wierd comment. Well I guess something has to get off on some one. Anyway I doubt that highly, Chris would get more emails then Carlos Mencia after telling a black joke.
