The thing I cherish the most is a gold diamond ring that's worth a few million now. My father gave it to me before he died when I was 5 months old. I never new my real family. I've been an orphan and now I'm quite happy where I am. Smile

I have a few things. My first bass guitar. It's a Fender p-bass that me mum gave me, a Peavey Milestone that my older brother gave to me and a gold watch that my dad gave me!

Well that would be my collection of ww2 artifacts i recovered around my town. Old rifles, helmets, equipment, personal items and I.D. tags. Operation Market Garden had the biggest para drop ever, and it happened 5 miles from my home.

I'd have to say that I treasure my self reliance and empathy most, if we're not talking about physical things.

If we are, however, I'd have to be generic and say my family and friends, including my dog, of course. I also am in love with a few books, and never go anywhere without them. A few have their spines warped, pages falling out, and spaghetti sauce stains from reading while eating dinner... needless to say, I don't lend these copies out.

What about horses? I think out of all of your pics in the personal pics thread only two or three of them don't have you either riding a horse or with one.

I love them, to be sure, but they are not the thing that I treasure most in this world. They are my partner in an exhilarating sport, however, I would not give up any of the things I listed previously just to ride one or own one.

I have a big-and I mean BIG- collection of really anything metal. I keep that in a special hiding place, and I guess that would be my most precious MATERIAL posession. As for something less tangible, I'd say my own thoughts as my most cherished posession. Cool
