What row of numbers comes next?
1
11
21
1211
111221
312211
13112221 |
1113213211, the next set tells what the previous set is. the first is 1 so the next says there is one 1. So the next says there are two 1s etc etc.

A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50."
The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less.
In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet? |
He wrote "your exact weight" on a piece of paper
The next one I got in an e-mail, but I can't remember what it was! I know the last word was "I". I think "sing" was in there too...As for the last one, no idea.
Edit: it is STARTLING!, -L is STARTING, -T is STARING, -A is STRING, -R is STING, -T is SING, -G is SIN, -S is IN, -N is I! Woo. _________________ Here I lay, my claws and tail at peace. I rest my eyes and begin to sleep. Dreams fill my visions as mankind has fallen and dragons rule again. |

1st one explained: Starting with the second line, every line describes the line before it. In writing, it is:
One One
Two Ones
One Two One One
etc.

Here's some:
Old Mother Wicket had one eye, and a long tail that she let fly
But everytime she went through a gap, she left a bit of herself in the trap.
and:
This thing, all things it devours; birds, beasts, trees, and flowers
Gnaws iron, bites steel and grinds hard stone to meal
Slays king, ruins town, and beats the high mountain down.
and...
A box without hinges, key, or lid
Yet golden treasure inside is hid
(hint: the answer is not actually shaped like a box) _________________ Live simply, so that others may simply live.
