I got my final grade back for my third attempt at that English class. Despite how much it hates me, it's clear now that the System can't forbid me to have whatever I want even in my weakest subject.

Heck yeah I loved english specially when she wanted to us to write our own topics. She always wanted us to write nothing more then two or three paragraphs. Unfortunatly me being a writer, I end using all three pages of the notebook papers. Just I really Love to write. _________________ The blood of that which you beleive run deep within, if you feel this then there is no need to doubt. |

I love to write too and this class wouldn't have been an issue at all if the assignments were honest about themselves. I did well this time because I figured out that "literary analysis" actually means "research paper" and "express yourself" actually means "look up a bunch of stuff written by some people you've never heard of and keep your insight to yourself because we don't want it". I like writing too but wished I could have simply copied over some of the material I've submitted to this forum and touched it up a little to formalize it. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

I like english It's useful language. It's not my main language, so you can guess the opinion can change. Actually, these days it's too easy to me :P I've absorbed the language like a vacuum. At the time I even think using english language O.o _________________ Why do we avoid the rain? I for the most part loved aspects of English Class. But, as I progressed into college, creative writing went out the window and thus enters themed research papers! Nothing like hours on hours of excruciating punctuation and grammar correction on top of no plot.
So yes, I did enjoy English class, so long as we got to create stories using our imagination instead of text books and bibliographies. though interesting to read, not so much to write. _________________ "Don't mind the tail, he has a mind of his own..." |

English class itself is ok. The teacher is not, though. All she does is talk about Twilight and teach. And I hate all the brainstorming, rough drafts, ect. we have to do. It's so freaking annoying!! _________________ The day doesn't pass by quickly - we just pass quickly through the day. |

Back when I went to school I was one of those "I don't give a sh*t" kinda student, the only class I liked was history. The other classes I had D's and C's asides for math which I was always failing in. I regret that now, but English class wasn't that bad, I had a good teacher and she helped me a lot, but my grammar and spelling was never a strong point for me, one of the reason I came here. To improve on my writing skills, the story telling section has help me out a lot.
And have fun of course. _________________ Rest in Peace, Ronnie James Dio, from Mortal to God, Rest in Peace.(1942-2010) |
