I've looked it over... In my opinion, it looks pretty fake. I don't know much about magic, but I can tell you that this stands a very poor chance of doing anything at all, other than making for a waste of time. _________________ DeviantArt Page.

Nope. Won't work. Not a chance. This might sound weird and rather strange based on the topic, but it looks like there's TOO MUCH hocus-pocus here and not enough semi-scientific explanation. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

I don't want to play devil's advocate, but somebody has to do it.
It might work, there are so many things we don't really know.
But I personally think it's all bogus. I don't believe anything of it. As a science guy, I hardly believe it will have any effect at all. |

I think there's the slightest possibility that some of those might work.... But I think you'd have to actually know what you're doing/how the frig to make it work (it's not just a bunch of motions and words and BOOM! Dragons).
However, the 'guardian dragons' one is taken right from "Dancing With Dragons" by D.J. Conway, which is one of the biggest pieces of crap I've read. Anything having to do with it, including these kinds of sites, are automatically deducted 50 respect points, 80 reliability points from me. |

I love these kind of things.. They are the same weird kind of spells and techniques as used by a lot of fortune telling these days.. There usually are a certain amount of starting requirements for such a thing.
One. There is no actual direct person that can do this, as the website states (and what I expected from any such con sites).. Is that they aim at a public that "really believes, respects and accepts the dragon magick, and isn't joking)
I'll get back to this later, this is a beautifull coverup in the trend of "the best will win, but I wont tell you who the best is."
Two. The spells all seem to have small effects or nearly no effect at all, the money one for instance does not actually state any numbers or effect, instead giving the very vague description of "more money being drawn to you".. This vague description is typical of such spells and methods, it only aims at people who actually succeed in making money some how in their own way.
So, to get back to the first point... If you do the money spell, and you don't get any real money in a while, the text automatically tells you your apparantly not into it enough, you dont trust the dragon magick enough or perhaps you dont have enough belief in it.. You lose, its not the spells fault.
If you do manage to get money though, then because your doing this "magick" you might think (Hey, its the magick that did it, not me). Which is ofcourse completely false, but thats the point, the spells themselves have no weaknesses, if you fail its your fault, and if you win its the spell..
Its a very simple mind trick that makes a lot of people believe in things like fortune tellers and stuff as well...
You are simply being tricked into believing that if something goes right, it is not you, but the spell, and thats rediculous :P _________________ Avatar by Vanodalv. Wooh |

Okay, I looked at the site, and I can honestly say that is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read regarding dragons and magick.
First off, let's assume that this site isn't completely bogus. There are 3 basic, yet BIG things that aren't even covered on the site that could get people in a LOT of trouble if they tried the spells listed:
1. It doesn't even fully explain the effects of what you're about to do. Basically beats around the bush, and doesn't explain what each thing added to the spell means. I feel knowing the meaning of something used in magick is important for the caster to know what he/she is doing, as well as for the potency of the spell. Magick is largely about will, and without the knowledge of what it is you're doing, it is difficult to focus on what you're doing, and you will not know about all the things involved in the spell. (Sorry if that doesn't make sense, but it's 3:15 am, and I'm tired.)
2. There is no warning about what could happen if done wrong.
3. There is no mention of protecting yourself, as should be done when doing anything with energy work, and particularly magick.
Now, there is some dragon magick out there that is real, and I've spoken with people who practice it frequently (or sometimes primarily, depending on their beliefs.) If you want, look up J'Karrah Ebondragon or Vox Draconis (I think Vox does this...not sure) for this. However, anything that mentions D.J. Conway or Dancing with Dragons should be regarded as a load of bull. |
