That book is completely worthless, with the vast majority of the material within it being the sole invention of its author. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

You do have to admit it's pretty to look at though. I prefer Ciruelo's (major spelling issues on the name I imagine) illustrations though. Good book if you can find it. _________________ "People who are easily offended need to be offended more often."

I like it as a fictional children's book with really nice artwork. I found all the pop-up bits, flaps and shiny bits are rather fun (one day I might grow up, but not today )
But if you are after a serious and well researched book about dragons this ISN'T it. _________________ Avatar art by Zyleeth |

Out of curiosity just how silly is the book? Does it say things as ludicrous as that there's a race of them strong enough to carry elephants, or that dragons can be TAMED? lmao _________________ The statement below this one is false.

I thought the book was pretty good even if some of the theories seem a little far from practical in my opinion. I also have the handbook...
What can I say? It has dragons and needed to come home with me
I also have Ciruelo's The Book of the Dragon. I love the artwork in it. |
