We've had many members in he past who have liked Dragonforce enough so that the topic of their music has com up many a time. Enough so that Dark and I hunted down some of their music... just to see if we liked it...: Guess what we are both hooked

by the way if any of you would like to see them live (I've heard tell they don't tour so much as they do festivals now) they are one of the major bands doing Mayhem Fest in the states this year... it kicks off in Seattle July 9th. and it looks like there will be about 30 stops on the tour Dark and I will probably come back raving about the show. just some forewarning.

Quite frankly dragonforce is our main reason for pulling what will be a +24 hr day that day for us on july 8th/9th I'll try t get back to you guys with what I thought of the festival... provided I remember much of it ;P.

My boyfriend is living in the states and he's also gonna be going to the Mayhem tour The one in Texas but I think he's mainly going to see Disturbed and maybe some others. Both him and I are big Disturbed fans, me maybe a bit bigger! I really wished I could go too but unfortunately I'm all the way in the U.K.

Wow my ablity to get net acess is more or less down the tube...
OK sorry this took so long but i was in no condition during the festival to realy make any note worthy observations due to the afroe mentioned lack of sleep.I would have been funner if i coud actualy remember anthing that happened, but i was totaly flattened.
As sadly for the three days preceding mayham fest, i maby got at absloute max like 4 consistantly interupted hours of sleep a day, ( I work 12 hr grave yards ) then Dark and i haulled our tails down to Auburn fresh off our final shift of the week to get 2-3 hours sleep when we got there before hand.

By the time any thing hit the main stage, i was actualy starting to see things due to lack of sleep. It was so worth it though. Dark and I found out that both he and I are taller than about Half of the guys in Dragonforce, and were used to deing rather.. vertically challanged (yes we have the picture to prove it). lack of slumber caught up to us during Mastadon's performance and we were out like lights for most of it.

We woke up for dragonforce's performance, I totaly missed ZP Thearts lewd adlib. ( you can find it on you tube by looking up meyham fest auburn WA) i actualy had to be pointed out By dark dragon.

We stayed thrugh half of Disturbed before deciding that we'd probably run off the road on the way back to our hotel if we didn't leave really soon.


Bit of advice, concerts/ events realy are funner if you go with a gang of your friends and get decent sleep. but other than that and the whole the walls and floor apear to be bubbling and moving thing, what I can recall of the festial was awesome.
