I think the only possibility of dragons on Earth would be the Wyverns, I just don't think the traditional 6-limbed flying lizard could be so easily hidden, there are absolutely no fossils but I remember seeing somewhere that there were fossils recovered of something that resembles a Wyvern.
Could you give us a source of your proof Shurikan? I would like to read up on it and it may answer a few questions that I have as well. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. And everyone forgets the quetzalcoatl-style dragon, which did indeed have feathers instead of scales. :P Mind you, there is no fossil proof for one exactly like that, but the... oh, bloody Hell, I forgot its name. Archeopteryx, or something. That one comes close, except it's not snake-like and has legs. :P And the wrong size.
Essentially, on Earth the chances are slim that they exist/have existed. The chances as for the future aren't something I want to go into... essentially I think they won't exist on Earth without significant genetic tampering by humans which I suspect will inevitably happen because we are such a cantankerously curious and predictable race. Now, whether dragons will be made at that point isn't certain; after all, what purpose would be served? And... would anybody even remember them at all? Our technology is far--very, very far--from the capability to do that. At least, that's my understanding, and that's the understanding of the public in general; who knows what those military people in their secret underground bases are doing...
I digress. By the time that it will be possible, there will be firstly no reason to and secondly possibly not the memory to. Unless it's as a subservient supersoldier, and if that's the case I can think of several better-suited designs than a dragon. I mean, face it, they're less than perfect for a combat situation. Anyway, that's my two cents. Again. Let me end by pointing this out: There is no such thing as "proof" of dragons. There's no such thing as proof at all, actually; only things that we accept as true because of some convincing logical argument, even if the logical argument is in our subconscious as our conscious mind sees some physical representation of something. Well, we SAW and EXPERIENCED it, must be true. That's the "proof." But, if we're doing something like that, a logical argument in the style of that which I so love to do (the whole pointing out of the size of things to people who may or may not truly understand how bloody big even the Sun is) should be plenty proof enough. Sure, it's possible I'm wrong; it's also possible that you're just taking a nap right now and I don't exist outside your dream. It's possible that there's a meteorite about to slam into your head and kill you. It's POSSIBLE, but... come on. The universe is big. The odds of dragons in the universe are big; almost certain, even. There are lots of universes, a number the human mind can't comprehend. The odds of dragons in those are pretty big. It's almost certain. It's probably more likely that you're going to die because of a Rubik's Cube and a chainsaw than it is that dragons don't exist somewhere, somewhen, ever. _________________ Happy Fourth of July everybody!
