They asked you for WHAT?? Ohhhhhhh man... I haven't laughed this hard in a long time... X3
You win a cookie.
I assume btw that you mean you'd taken on the BODY of a human. Either way though that's kinda silly, asking anyone for "proof" of any belief, when you take into account the definition of the word "belief". Heck, they're silly for even turning you down for the stated reason. It'd be one thing if it had been an online cult or something, but the purpose of a forum is to talk with other people! My previous community had at least two active members who weren't otherkin. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

Looks like this is the first time that I heard about a fundamental otherkin/dragonkin. I wonder how many people had to lie through their teeth to get in with proof of what they say they are.
Other than that.......
I believe dragons are real myself. Most of what others say, they probably live in another plane of existence, dimension, another planet/galaxy, or even possibly on earth. Dragons probably had a way to not leave any proof of their existence after death so people ere these days don't go in shock, I wouldn't know how it could be done, but it's doubtful possibility I recently came up with. _________________ Does my breath smell of rotting corpses? I do believe dragons are real because there's this large pond outside my house. It's hidden by trees and there's loads of low branches. It's really peaceful because i'm the only one that really knows it's there. There's a couple of problems though. It stinks like rotting things, loads of bubbles keep escaping and make a sort of trail. Once, I swear I saw something large and scaly walk out of there.
As for me, I sort of think like a dragon. I walk quietly, I hate loud noises. When something scares me I crouch and hiss at whatever it is. If I see someone I really dislike I think what would they look like if I tried roaring at them. I growl at my dog if he annoys me and my stare has a bit of an hypnotising effect on him. People say I have hair the colour of fire and if I imagine that I am flying I can actually feel invisible wing muscles working under my skin. I am a bit of a carnivore as well. |

And what makes you sure it was a dragon, and not a crocodile, snake, some other reptile, or an optical illusion?

How can you think like a dragon? It's like saying "think like a human". Dragons are just too diverse to have the same mentality.

None of this neccesarily means you're a dragon or think like a dragon. Most dragonkin don't hiss, growl, roar at all. And some "ordinary" people do (and most people are bit of carnivores).
However, if you feel sensations under your skin, it could mean something. |

| Crocodiles don't live in Wales and it was bigger than any native reptile. (It wasn't that bright outside so I might just be seeing things. |

I think the answer to it all is that it's just fun to believe and to wonder at weird things that happen without explanation. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

Have any of you seen the documentary on the discovery channel the other day.Well they were looking in a few romainian caves and found scorched humans bones almost melted by fire thought to be about 500 degrees plus Kelvin but no evidence of a predator that did so, I watched their theory of what happened and the scientific explanation of dragons. But through my hate of theory I continued my research and they found an "UNFOSSILIZED" skull of a dragon in Romania.Which can mean only one thing. Dragons Still Exist in the world today.
Difinitive Proof that dragons at least once existed. So to all you people who think otherwise I say HA told ya so." _________________ Farewell my shadow, you who walk the path I chose not to follow, Yet I do not regret my choice. I will continue to choose this path. |

Seeing as how the Discovery Channel is really stepping it up with the fictional documentaries (seen the commercials for their "reviving the dinosaurs" idiocy?), the fact that they had one on dragons means nothing. Animal Planet also had one on dragons which has caused me many headaches.
Anyway, title of show, please. At least that way I can look it up. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |
