Cake Waffles

I read this on a different forum, had never thought of it before, then decided it was absolutly brilliant.

You can make cake in a waffle maker. Just mix up the cake batter like you normally would, add to non-stick sprayed waffle maker, wait a minute or so, then ice with frosting and eat (remove the waffle first of course...). You can make cake sandwiches this way too, which are good for packing in lunches. Tried it this weekend and it worked like a charm.

The good thing about waffle irons is you can find cheeper ones if you don't think you're going to use it that much. I picked mine up for $5 (U.S).

That. Is. BRILLIANT!! Absolutely wonderful! Forget to buy a birthday gift or anniversary present? Make wafflecake! XD ..now I feel like a commercial. Heh. But seriously, awesome good idea!
