Well sure you and I SOUNDED heartless on that part, but it's because the issue is what some refer to as "cold hard truth". Money really is an issue and we truly do need to figure out what to do with people who... dang, I don't know how to put it. But yes, I'll concede too that execution is rather extreme.
...And I can't believe I missed that little detail of the Geneva Convention. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

I'm not saying that money's not an issue. I'm just of the opinion that money ranks lower on the importance scale than the other factors. If you want to save money, you need to fund programs to drop the recidivism rate, increase funding to the social and educational programs to prevent many of the low-level crimes in the first place, as well as dropping the legal penalties for so-called "victimless" crimes (legalizing the currently-illegal drugs, for example). _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

Everyone's a "potential" lawbreaker, so nothing really.
Past that, I'm not quite sure what you're asking. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

What Im saying is not said out of hate,or as a desire for revenge.
Give me a reason that a murderer should be allowed to live.
What gives those horrible killers that right?
And as for rapists they get let out all the time.
They should be castrated.
People who say that they are raped but weren't should suffer the same penalty as the former.
I say things not out of hate.
And do you truly believe all things can be settled by words? Idealistic maybye but its not going to happen in the world today.
If we had fought WW2 this way we would have been obliterated by the germans and japanese.
DO I believe that some things should be eradicated, absolutely.
And dont refer to the bible saying god condemns all murderers.
More people have been slaughtered in the name of god than In all these wars combined.
And finally my definition of scum.

You keep saying this, but you've yet to provide any reason for us to agree with you. All I've seen so far is "Kill the killers," which, I'll admit, makes an interesting catch phrase, but gives no insight as to why that should be done. What makes the death penalty better than life in prison?

Illegal under the US Constitution.

Same as previous.

Who in this thread said anything resembling that?

Irrelevant.

Who decides what should be eradicated?

Also irrelevant.

Thank you for that, at least.

Who defines what is right? Also, can you find any examples of people who commit crimes for no reason other than that it is wrong?
Also, from a little while ago: When you say murder, is that in the lay sense to refer simply to a homicide, or murder in the legal sense?

actually he is quite right. some of your ideas do violate the US Constitution.
i have been studying the Constitution for US history, FYI. _________________ Really, you should know better than steal a bowl of ramen from a Dragon.. *slu-u-u-rp* |
