(why does everyone says tails are weapons?)
i think they can act as stabilizers, on air, water, or land. On land, it's like balance so you could run without fearing you will topple over. _________________ Really, you should know better than steal a bowl of ramen from a Dragon.. *slu-u-u-rp* |

| Actually, that's what's been said by almost everybody too. About the weapon part, why not? If it was big enough and strong enough, I can imagine it can do quite some damage. |

or mating device. there was a certain dinosaur that has a large sail on the back that people often wondered what it was for. Mostly, it was thought to be used as a mating device, to attract mates by changing colors in the sail. _________________ Really, you should know better than steal a bowl of ramen from a Dragon.. *slu-u-u-rp* |

I never even knew what a tail was for back when I had one. I was just really proud of having it and used it as one more excuse to stare down my nose at all the "lesser" mortals. Especially those silly little apes…
In a roleplay chat I like to poke others with it. Getting away with this becomes quite tricky with Celtore though… _________________ The statement below this one is false.

lol Yeah well...your tail is better for nibbling on than mine is.
Hmm...I don't really remember paying much attention to my tail. It was there...and I knew I had a tail...and it was there. I think I treated it more like how a girl might see a favorite necklace: When you have it on, you don't think about it, but you know it's gone as soon as it is. Only difference is that my tail was on the other end opposite where one wears a necklace. _________________ I use logic. Deal with it.

I don't know if anyone has specifically said this or not, but some tails tend to act like a fin sometimes (by this I mean more as a propeller than a rudder). Well, they certainly have many uses. Definitely wagging. Yes.

| Shinoar tails were used for balance, as like the "prehistoric" dragons in the mockumentary, we were therapodian bipedal. Our tails were also used for display, both threatening and while dancing. Our tails also supported wing membrane down about a quarter of their length, thus adding to over-all wing size. |
