All I have to say about Naruto is that once they start the "Year of Fillers", stop watching. I used to watch the anime, but once they tried that, I gave it up for good. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

Ooh ok, thanks for the warning! I guess I'll just have to check it out myself and see what I think! But so far it's been good |

Sooo many good series have gone down in flames during the inevitable filler stories and arcs. I used to love Bleach but pretty much quit watching it for the same reason. I heard the same thing happened to Kenshin and DBZ. Inu Yasha, much as I liked it at first, struck me the same way. _________________ "People who are easily offended need to be offended more often."

"Legendz" is now completely uploaded on YouTube until someone decides to sue over it for no good reason. It's a series that starts out slightly Pokemon-ish for about 15 episodes or so and the plot gradually gains more depth. Contains some stuff about dragons here and there and about the importance of preserving the environment.
Only thing I thought was bad about the series was the horrible HORRIBLE ending. If anyone decides to watch, stop watching about 3/4 of the way through episode 50. At one point Shu's mother looks out the window and sees Shiron, and then the screen fades to black (presumably for a commercial or something?). STOP WATCHING RIGHT THERE. You don't need to see the rest. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

I actually kind of liked Bleach's Bounto arc and the Kenshin fillers. Unlike the Naruto monstrosity, their fillers took the form of a (fairly) developed minor storyline. Naruto just had fifty-odd one-shot episodes, in which absolutely nothing happened.
And DBZ was supposed to end after the Frieza storyline. Everything after that was because it got too popular, and the producers pushed the writer to write more. GT happened when the writer quit. :P _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |
