Suliathe and I were reptiles, as were the others who raised us, but we were of a more birdlike race, had stronger colors, were less crocodilian, and enjoyed flying more. We still counted as reptiles though since we were cold-blooded. Given a chance to actually breed though my race would probably have eventually become full birds. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

Also from what I know of dragons is that they where not dumb lumbering creatures. They are by most accounts very intelligent. What most are stating is true. They should be in their own classification. _________________ Look into the eyes of the dragon and it will reveal your soul.... |

Like dolphins. Looks like fish but are mammals and apparently one of the smartest species on earth. All that could be applied to a dragon, if you find one.
Please use correct punctuation / grammar. ~Namhias. _________________ Really, you should know better than steal a bowl of ramen from a Dragon.. *slu-u-u-rp* |

I think it is impossible to say what a dragon IS. Dragon after all is a human term, to describe something that has the appearance of a lizard with four legs and wings.
Other countries have thier own definition of dragon, the chinese see them as long, serpentlike with spines and small limbs, and often no wings. he call it 'dragon' but it MEANS something else.
I call my species 'dragon' because they more or less fir the western steriotype. Looking in detail however, they share only a few traits with most other 'dragons', lacking fire, intelligence, wisdom, hoards, or indeed any human interaction on thier little homeworld. They evolved there, and have no link to any other species OF dragon.
But they look kinda like dragons, so that is what they are classified as.
Its the same all over. Defining the indefinable is not going to happen anytime soon I hope. |

Many try. None succeed, fortunately. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

Dragns aren't mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, or bugs. They are just dragons.and not all dragons breathe fire. different dragons have different breath weapons. here is a list of dragons and thier breath weapons.
Black dragon: Acid
Blue dragon: Lightning(static electricity to the MAX)
Green dragon: Acid gas
Red dragon: Fire (classical)
White dragon: Frost
Brass dragon: Fire and Sleep gas
Bronze dragon: Lightning and Repultion gas(really really REALLY bad breath
Copper dragon: Acid and Slow gas
Gold dragon: Fire and Weakening gas
Silver dragon: Frost and parilyzing gas
These breath weapons might seem impossible, but there is the simplest explanation: magic. There are chemicals in an organ called the Draconis Fundamentum that magically create the breath weapon of the dragon.
Well I am a Red dragon, but my dragon is a vampire dragon which changes the habitat from a cave near volcanc activity, to a cave that leads underground. _________________ A dragon living in a *blek*, I mean a human body click on it please if you want it to live |

either that or those rather silly Dragonology books.
I was yellow/gold as a dragon. I had no breath weapon at all so that list is immediately proven to be untrue. |
