Ok there seems to be a wee theme going on about dreams, so I thought I may as well post one of mine that really freaks me out and see...well....if anyone can tell me what it may mean. Ok, here you go.....

Runs down a dark corridor clutching a piece of blood red parchment to my chest. I dive into a room and slam the door shut, leaning against it, breathing hard.

My hands tremble violently as I turn and lock the door (I don't know where the key came from.)

I run to the back of the room and raise the parchment so as to look upon the writing. I scream in sheer and absolute terror then collapse on the floor writhing in pain as a shadow falls across my body. I scream louder as the owner of the shadow bends over me then.........................

I wake up.

I don't know what was on the parchment, nor did I get to see the owner of the shadow.

Scary stuff.

It's probably a reference to your homework or something. I don't know what else would scare me THAT much involving a piece of paper. Shock

I dont know. I felt scared as I was running, and I was holding the paper as if I was trying to protect it. Then that thing that leaned over me *shivers* I didn't see what it was but just thinking about it freaks me out.

I've had a dream where I was holding and trying to protect my stuffed dragon.
Something tried to take it away from me but I screamed and wouldn't let go.
It's a very, very meaningful dream for me.

I wouldn't worry about it, either of you. Smile To me, dreams are just thoughts in your head, and more often than not are to do with your real life experiences. Have you been under any stress lately? As with the shadow, perhaps you feel something coming, like, in the near future? You could just be worrying of things to come, thats why you dream of the shadow coming for you.

For you Draquenvar, perhaps you are just worried about something dear to you being taken away? Like i said, try to relate it to real life and you should be able to find a connection.

Or perhaps you just both have really active imaginations, like me x) Some of my dreams are so twisted they seem to have nothing to do with real life at all....

I don't know about that Raven. There has been multiple occasions when my dreams have had some relevance to reality. Sometimes each different aspect or object that sticks out to me has its own personal meaning and when all put together has some sort of meaning or perhaps a message all on its own.

Most of the time when I can decipher their meanings they usually mean that I am really stressed, that I need to relax. Other times they tell me of what may come. Although I did not like what could have been and avoided the problem.

Rarely I can see my dreams in crystal clarity, only twice in my life so far. It is almost as if I had entered a new world. Those two were of course the ones of me being a dragon and of my draconic family.

In short I am a superstitious man and I do believe that dreams do have some relevance to reality. I do wish I had one of those dream books Icedheart or I would try to interpret her nightmare myself so please, do dig it up and try to provide some interpretations.

I used to be superstitious about this kind of thing.. Once I swore I had dreamt something and then it had happened in real life, but it was so long ago now I'm not so sure. I could have just been kidding myself, had something happen then dreamt it, and accidentally swapped it round. I don't know, I was little. dunno
Anyway, the dream books are quite easy to get, go to your local bookstore and have a loot around. I wouldn't take them too seriously though, we have a couple of dream dictionary's here, and if you search for the same key word, like, window, they both come up with completely different answers. >.> I mean, which one do you go with?

You're capitals needs some work... ~Namhias.
