Your ego and misinformed generalisations are showing...
YOU... do not speak for all dragons. The shinoar were as "highly evolved" as humans. We had no magic. We weren't all geniuses. We weren't even the top predator on our planet!
And holographic technologies cannot hide things from touch. I don't care if your "tail" is invisible, if I bump into it I'm damn well gonna notice it. Equally, I have seen no sign that magic, in the "awe inspiring tons of physical effects that could be seen by millions and are terribly obvious"-sense can even happen in this particular universe. Maybe somewhere else in the multiverse, or on another plane of dimension, but not here. |

Here is your "pickled dracling".
Now is that an umbilical cord I see? Because I have heard of only one instance where dragons are born live and thats in The Lesser Kindred. The only thing I see wrong with the wings is that they're not fully developed and that there are no fingerlike bones to span out at the ends. Other than that its pretty believable until you take it out and examine it. The guys who made this eventually fessed up that it was a fake.
I have developed a theory that perhaps Stone-Henge may possibly have been a teleportation device, and that the last remaining dragons fled to another world through it. But as of now I think there are no dragons on Earth left for us to see.

I and Auroara have looked every where to find dragons besides ourselves.
At some points we can actually feel the presence of other dragons. So we believe strongly dragons are here. They are not willing to reveal themselves to just anyone. As from what we gather they are here. For all you know your best friend could very well be a dragon and you wouldn't know it. He would never tell you unless it was needed to do so. They don't show themselves to anyone for obvious reasons.
Dragons show themselves only to those they have absolute trust in. They cannot hide their forms from me and Auroara because, she can tell the difference between a human and a dragon disguised as a human. Just by tapping into their minds. Once you pick up telepathy it becomes simple to detect other spiritual presences. Finding out who is human and who is not.
In conclusion dragons are seen by humans, only when they need to do things they can only do when in their true forms.

I don't think otherkin really "hide", exactly. I think it's that we just don't bring it up and that nobody's really looking for us.  Or in some cases that nobody knows what specifically to look for. I had one friend (insane like most of my friends have been  ) at one point just suddenly stared into my eyes and said that she thought me was "suspicious or out of place with everything else" and that she saw something "BEHIND my eyes that she couldn't identify".

I can only imagine how a human's mind may look, one-track and pretty bland most of the time isn't it dragonwriterX? And is it that simple to just one day "pick up telepethy?
I would love to one day resort to my true form but I have no knowledge of how to do so. I've been thinking a lot and judging by what you said on how dragons are still among us only in human form, that maybe one of my ancestors fell in love with a dragon and had a child. It is a possibility that I must consider since I have nothing but multiple theories, this now one of them.

Well you do have to train yourself to be able to do it.
If you spend a lot of time meditating. At some point you can
detect the presence of other life forms. If you focus on the single life form it is (If the creature is willing) to communicate with that creature, but there must be a real connection for it to even begin to work. I'm not saying I can go up to a random dog on the street and talk to it. Simply saying I have an understanding of what that animal is feeling.
