| Yes but if you search the Bible carefully, you will find hints of fire breathing scale covered creatures with theability to fly, i.e. Dragons. |
I don't remember seeing such a thing in my (admittedly, rather cursory) readings of that book. What sections make mention of such? |
Job, actually. It's referred to as the Leviathan; it's mentioned also in the Book of Revelation, but that's interpreted as being largely metaphorical. Don't recall specific verses, but it's in Chapter 41. Mentions how its breath is like fire, its sinews like iron, stuff like that. Never says it can fly. _________________ Happy Fourth of July everybody! Well the dragon was long thick, it had a crooked horn, some holes in its wings, glowing green and blue eyes, thick forelegs and hind legs, and something on the end of its tail. I didn't look long enough to tell what it looked like. So there you go a full description of the dragon I saw. |

Now how were you able to tell even the color of its eyes when it would've been flying at least a few hundred feet above ground? You missed my point. For all we know you could be making this up. Until you start providing some proof or evidence of your sighting I have no choice but to dismiss this as a false claim. I'm sorry but over the internet there is no other alternative. Perhaps if you are lucky enough to see one again you can get a snapshot of it with a cell phone or something. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. My wings carry me upon the winds. If it was that close why weren't there any other witnesses? There should have been someone else that captured it on film or got a picture of it, it is kind of hard for a 30-60 foot long flying lizard to go unnoticed but by to people when flying close enough for you to get the color of his/her eyes. And where the heck could a dragon take off in a city without causing some sort of chaos or panic with it being on the ground for all to see. This is starting to sound rediculous and I'm getting tired of it. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. My wings carry me upon the winds. Above lies heaven, below hell. Just ignore him, goldendragon. He wants attention and to believe that we're as gullible and unintelligent as he is. He was probably fooled by a similar statement about something else in the past. In my experience, everyone who sees dragons is lying for whatever reason. If you ask them for photographic proof, it is often that their "proof" is photoshopped or taken from a movie's promotional photography or something. Trust me, people don't see dragons in anything but visions; to say otherwise is to have the burden of evidence put on you, and I won't believe it until you prove it wasn't a vision. _________________ Happy Fourth of July everybody! ^I want to have visions. That would be cool if I started to have visions of dragons. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. My wings carry me upon the winds. Above lies heaven, below hell. Yet I must land in hell to soar in heaven. I am a Dragon! |

This is why I treat "visions" differently from actual vision. "Inner" visions aren't supposed to be treated as observation of something unless that something is a detail about the viewer; in other contexts they're only supposed to give some sort of symbolic meaning. To use a classic example, if I had a dream containing a huge red dragon zipping around burning things for no reason, I'd interpret that as a symbol of powerful anger. I would NOT interpret it as a prediction that a huge monster would fly around burning things in 2012. _________________ The statement below this one is false.
