Funniest Video Game Quotes

I've been meaning to do this for a while, cause there's just really funny things that are said during video games.

For an example, in Devil May Cry 4, at the end of Mission 11. Nero gives Dante the bird, funny in its self, cause you just don't see that in games unless you're playing Grand Theft Auto.

Later on in the same 'cutscene' or movie, a big statue starts flying and Dante laughs looking at Trish.

Dante: Ha! Check it out! It's got wings!

Trish: But it's design has terrible flaws.

They literally say that in the game. It's hilarious. Right after a serious moment when the lover of the hero, Nero, is basically consumed by the 'saviour', it gets all emotional, then this happens.

HALO has got some too, with the Kamakaze Grunts that come running out you screaming some wild thing with two lit plasma grenades, that also explode before they ever get close to you.

This is from an old PS1 game I used to have. I can't remember the name at the moment but I will try and have a rumage for it.

One of the main characters (a girl, of whom I also can't remember the name) has just fallen off of a cliff. The other main character, Ryu (who can transorm into a sort of human/dragon), has just leapt off and is leaping from ledge to ledge to try and save her. He suddenly leaps off a crumbling ledge and is falling at break neck speed, when he passes the girl who has magically sprouted wings.

Obviously he lands on the ground, face first, after falling hundreds of feet at a terrifying speed. The girl floats gracefully down beside him and asks,

"Umm, Ryu? Are you alright?"

(Dunno if that's funny. I have a twisted sense of humour so I liked it )

In Medal of Honor: Front Line, there is a level where you steal a soldiers clothes. Later in that level the soldier comes running out of a building in bright red boxers and a white shirt yelling. Best part is, he is a character you can play as in multi-player. So I have named him Boxers whenever I play multi player =)

Now for actual quotes...hm...how about a few of the classics? "All your base are belong to us" (Zero Wing) and "You spoony bard!" (FFII) have to rank somewhere near the top.

The end of Halo 1 when beaten on Legendary mode. Right as the ship is exlploding, it cuts to a fight between Sarge and a blue Elite.

Sarge says, "oh sh**", looks up at the Elite and they've both got that, 'we're gonna die aren't we?' look in their faces.

Passionately, Sarge states, "This is it baby... Hold me."

And he and the Elite hug each other real close. xD

I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw that!
