What if you were to suddenly turn into your kin....

If I woke up one day and found myself in my trueform? Well, that'd be grand. Whether humans can see me or not depends on which plane of existence I'm on. The one that I used to exist on didn't need any senses, so I haven't got eyes, or ears, or a tongue, or exposed skin, or a nose. Also, most humans don't like to notice that plane. Anyway, let's assume I'm on this plane of existence, the physical one, and I can still use my senses the way I could before so I'm not sensorily deprived. The first thing I'd do is shout loudly, assuming I have vocal cords. If not, I'd mentally shout loudly. I just want to hear what my voice looks like. I wouldn't need to take any time to look myself over, since the way I perceived things was like a sphere radiating from my mind instead of an angle coming out of my eyes--which don't exist anyway. After that, I'd very much want to go rub it into the world's faces. I know they'd shoot me when they saw me--who wouldn't shoot someone with my trueform? It's very scary--but hey, I can take bullets. Six inches of armor plating on my main body, two on the thinner parts, and a sort of gradient everywhere else. At that point, being the evil person I am, I'd probably steal their guns with my "hands"--which are far, far too big to use guns with--and destroy them. The guns, not the people. I'd be making life difficult for everyone else who changed if I destroyed the people, as fun as it would be to kill them. I would then look for all the idiots who bugged me and scare the living daylights out of them. I'm that kind of guy. But again, because I don't want to make things difficult for everybody else who changed, I wouldn't kill anybody. I would, however, find my way to Congress--if I haven't gotten killed by a tank round yet or something--and find some way to demand that they stop trying to bloody kill me since I'm not killing them. I'd also make sure that they gave us--everybody who changed--full rights. And, hey, while I'm at it, I could put in something about getting rid of Prop 8 down here in California, and everywhere else they have similar laws. :P I don't like people getting discriminated against.

This description (of a non-descript form ) sounds like the "base" form of EVERYONE: a raw soul. I think this thread was more of an address of what if we assumed our otherkin forms.

Oh, it's actually fairly descript. It's just that I had no senses, and I didn't want to go through all the different details of what it looked like since I did that on another thread. Just trust me when I say that it is not, in fact, a soul. A soul inhabited it, the same one as is in me, but it itself was not one.

Just hopefully, it would happen at night. In the morning as I wake up and see my new legs, I would probably be shocked, but after a thinking a bit, be hapy about it, that the waiting is over. First of all, I would look at myself in the mirror and see what kind of dragon form I have gotten and after it I would try to make my family understand what am I and that I'm not dangerous. I would be hidden, out of the curious and fearful human who would probably try to kill me at first sight. Then, training to fly at night in a safe place and after I have learned to fly, I would start a journey to find my fellow dragon friends. Over the seas where not much people can't hear me, I would roar out loud to test my sound. If humans see me, it really doesn't matter. Dragons have bullet proof scales that also resist radiation well. That's what I've heard from one person. After that... I don't really know. Time shows what will happen.

I wouldn't take it as a curse, I would be sure that there would be others somewhere. Being only one... it would be stupid, meaningless...

Monarth, not all dragons are scaled. My own species had no scales. Also, what would happen if you dragon form was larger than your room? Or at least large enough to be unable to fit through a door or window?

I thought about that one and unfortunately I would probably end up having to either relocate my family for if my human age went proportionate to my dragon age I would probably be as big as my house. But most likely I would just have to make my window a lot bigger since an 18 year old dragon is just a dracling in our life span. I know that my kind did have scales but I think that they were similar to a lizard's or snake's scales with my back portions being a little harder and the underbelly softer.

There are a lot of different dragons around here. Some had scales, others had feathers, some had fur and some even had just plain skin. There isn't anybody who could tell what you used to be. Only you can.
