This reminds me when in Dragonheart's movie the knight asked Draco: "apart of your misery what's to lose?" And he replayed: "My soul"

I think the soul is pure and immortal. That..if we do things right. If not, like in the movie, our existence could disappear. I like that dragon philosophy.
(I apologize of my spelling..)

That sounds very interesting.

And I too love Dragonheart, I think that was what made me focus intently on dragons about 15 years ago, leading to the realization of my Draconity. That movie truly shows the truest nature of us Dragons.

Keep answering everyone, My answer coms soon...

...WATCH WHAT HAPPENS!!! Very Happy

Yes it's great. Altough Bowen killed many dragons Draco didn't just want revenge. He never thought about it. That may be the good dragon nature.

Dragonheart is a work of fiction, it cannot be used to compare to a real life situation.

DrakainaQueen is most correct when she says, "I think the soul is pure and immortal." In the Bible, it uses the phrase Soul and Spirit in the same sentences as though they were two different things, and here is why. The Spirit is the essence of Life and physical animation. It exists in the plants, animals, Humans, and the Otherkin. Now the Soul, it's a little more special. According to the Bible, Humans (includes Otherkin also) are made special, apart from all other life forms, and that's where the Soul comes in. As DrakainaQueen had said, The Soul is the Eternity of the Spirit, the Immortaliy, the fact and Divine Promise that, if taken care of, Life is Forevever.

Congrats. DrakainaQueen! Applause

To Namhias, I know that Dragonheart is fiction, still carries a little truth in it, though.

I'm not sure about that "humans being special" thing; I think that's a result of an animal instinct that many creatures have in trying to set their own species above the rest of the animal kingdom. If it were the case then it would mean either that I DON'T really have two souls after all (I wish!), or that my "other half" was actually human in life and has been lying to me all along.

ADDED NOTE: Actually I've figured it out by now. I thought that by associating "soul" with "human" you were saying that other animals were just total machines with no connection to the afterlife--an assumption I made on interpretation based on a lot of what I've heard on discussing the topic, but I've realized that's not quite what you were saying here. So just ignore this post. :P

A soul is our love, our hate, our thoughts, our dreams, our desires, our fears our... being. Without a soul we would be... nobody. We wouldn't care if we died, we wouldn't love, we would just live a meaningless empty life.

Edited: spelling and punctuation. ~Namhias.

This is just my opinion of the soul so please do not take this in the wrong way.

The soul is the inner being to every living creature. For most it keeps one form, rarely does it change. It is the very escence of who or what the creature is.

When the body dies, the soul lives on. After an undertimed amount of time the soul will find an empty body, normally one that has just been concieved but it isn't impossible to find a soul and trap it into another body. What happens to the soul though during that undetermined amount of time I do not know. It can inhabit any body although as far as I can tell they prefer to stick with the one that fits it the most. As in my case, there must be some sort of reason that I am human because I know that my soul has the form of a dragon. Perhaps I found out a lifetime ago that there was something that needed to be done here and this was the only way to get it done.

Anyways......theres more but its all speculation. Again this is my own belief of souls so feel free to attack it all you want. So far there isn't any physical evidence to support that souls even exist so on a logical and scientific stand I'll lose that battle, but it wont change what I believe.
