Ok here is something I have been dying to ask, how would you keep a black panther happy and you satisfied as well? I mean if I get enough money when I retire I will buy myself a panther cub. I love them little cute little balls of fur, I know the dangers when they grow up and all, but the love out weighs the risks.

Just remember that you might not be the only one in danger.

And in answer to your poll, yes, constantly. I'm thinking about working at the San Diego Zoo, though. So, no worries! Because I can handle extremely expensive animals all the time there. Smile

No, I don't want to have an exotic animal. A wild animal is just that, a wild animal, it could never be tamed, and even if you think you did, you still can't predict his behavior. I think that wild animals should live in the wild, not with humans as exotic pets.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that illegal in most places?

Have you asked yourself the question: 'why do I love such 'a little ball of fur' and why do I think that 'the love weighs the risks'?

What I really want to ask you is this: 'what is your inner (hidden) motive in wanting to 'own' a black panter?'

LOL! When I first clicked this I intended to say foremost that it should be moved to the "Debates" section because I thought you were gonna talk about........... er...... nevermind... Embarassed
I would keep a large or exotic pet happy by putting it into its natural habitat. The cats that I already have wouldn't be particularly welcoming to anyone new; Weldon doesn't even like unfamiliar humans coming in.

In some places it is illegal to own exotic animals, but in some places it isn't. The real reason why I would want to buy one is because I, dunno, I just feel so close to them since I was a child, like a family almost. I have been to zoo's and I have always went to the exhibit were large cats were. I always have felt a bond with the panther for some reason. I personally like the snow leopards my self, but for some reason I tend to lean more to the panthers like I know them or something. They do the same too, they sit and stare at the glass at me like it was trying to tell me something or looking me over.

It's just weird how this happens every time I go to the zoo.

Please use capital letters where appropriate. ~Namhias.

Isn't feeling the bond enough for you? Why do you want to own such a living being, will it be happy when it is owned by you? To illustrate my question: I feel a bond whenever I look a wolf in the eyes but the idea of owning one has never entered my mind. The bond is enough for me.
