I would say I'm in the middle of this. One I wouldn't mind meeting a few people on this site face to face. But with the internet anyone could be a murder and such...

Um... I think "be careful" is a better attitude to have than "everyone online is a murderer unless proven otherwise." 
Actually I think this'd be pretty interesting if there were a chance of it happening. But there isn't a chance of it happening. There are such things as "otherkin conventions", but I don't know why they meet.

| The why question is easy to answer, to finally meet the user in person. The how is a little more tricky however. The users are spread all around the world. |

I doubt it would be wise, as in my experience people tend to be much easier to get along with online than face to face, and others quite frankly flunk lunch when you put them in a room full of people.... then you have people like me who like their space and cant stand being in a crammed room or park or trail.. there would likly be verry ;little room to breath or move around in most venues whwere we could hold such an event.

Yeah same here. I hardly even stand one person rather then a lot of them. I don't like it when to many people get in one place, the sound is what gets me.

| Another problem is that one person, or several persons, might not go if a particular individual is going. I went to a gather last year, but beforehand asked if a particular person was also going. Because they were not going to be there, I did indeed attend. We do not all get along. |
