What do you think will happen if either Barock Obama, Hillary Clinton or John McCain are voted in as President?
Mind your spelling and grammar.

Well, Clinton's out as a presidential candidate, so it's down to Obama and McCain. As for what will happen, I don't really know. Lots of campaign promises don't get much follow-up, and even then, while the president does get to set general policy directions, and has veto power, a lot of what gets done needs both houses of Congress as well as the president, so if whoever wins has goals that are opposed by Congress, not much will get done. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

I'm not sure what will happen. I really hope Obama isn't elected, however. This may sound absurd, but when I was down south this past year (I have friends down there whom I visit every so often) I actually heard several people say that they were going to try to assassinate Obama if he was voted into office, because he's half black. I know it was just talk, but if there are that many people out there who are willing to discuss it, there are others willing to try it. Dang, racism is still everywhere. It probably won't go away until the end of the world. _________________ Live simply, so that others may simply live.

How is it his fault that someone (possibly) wants him dead? Why should he not be elected? _________________ The statement below this one is false.

If I may bring up the old slogans of those opposed to an elected official: "He isn't MY President" and "When all else fails, vote from the rooftops".
Sad fact is, there are going to be small minded bigots out there, just like there would sexist peole over Hillary. Our world is rotten like that.
Personally, I view it from this perspective: Macain has more experiance to offer the country, while Obama has a fresher outlook and the energy of youth. Both have a lot to offer the US. _________________ May you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you're dead.

The thing about "experience" is that it's not a universal good. Someone with experience campaigning for things you don't like should lose even to the relative newbie whose policies you agree with. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

I asked my math teacher this question. He made theories as to what whould happen. He said that Hilary had no chance. and Obama would probable be a marked man. And if McCain Were elected, If we ever went to war with anyone he'd just bomb them to kingdom come. No questions asked. I think that if McCain were elected presedent he'd lose his mind at some point. Seeing as how he was a Prisoner of War in Vietnam. _________________ The blood of that which you beleive run deep within, if you feel this then there is no need to doubt. |

Indeed, as she's now endorsing Obama.

I rather doubt it, but regardless, I don't think that it's a factor which should be considered before voting.

Seeing as how we've had more than that level of consideration from the current president, I rather doubt it.

If he was going to do that, he would probably have shown signs of it before now. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |
