Just have to say just for a 'Just in case you didn't know.'
A missile defense system will do little harm for the Czech. All a missile defense system will do is. 1. locate hostile missile or air targets. 2. Fire an anti-air missile and destroy the hostile target.
A missile defense grid in the Czech Republic will not only help our own country but them as well. When people hear 'missile' they think 'peacemaker nuke!' Not really the missile they use is called the MIM-104 Patriot, which targets hostile missiles and air hostiles (planes) and destroys them with high-explosive 90kg warhead. The warhead can not do any real damage to a city or even a building for the warhead is far to small.
Anyways on the other subjects, I tend to agree with Ragnarok and Rayadragon.

Not to be rude or anything, but what sort of people do you know? I'd wager that almost no one would have that as their first impression.

While true, the missile shield doesn't use Patriot missiles. It uses these.
