I have shared the "kiss of the dragon". It is a rather formal greeting used by a certain court of worshipers of dragon lore.

And you wouldn't happen to have any references to that?

It is a court in Devonshire, England. A rather small gathering of people that fully believes that dragons once walked the earth. The reason that the dragons left the realm of man was because they could not believe how much selfishness is inside of humans. How much conquest and ego. And how fast this was all spreading. They treat each other as they treat the earth. And can not be changed. This following tries very hard to follow the once ways of the dragons benevolence. And gathers to pray for their return and to comfort and encourage each other in there quest to try and find the dragon's footprints here on earth.

There are no formal writings of or by the group. They wish to remain small and untainted by the ideas of man. It is more of a friendship really.
You only share information of your beliefs with those that would encourage you and pray with you. Their are not a religion or a club or a coven. They are a friendship. Friends of dragons and those that would befriend a dragon.

They are very comforting and I visit when I can. And it helps me feel better about my time here on earth. And encourages me to treat my fellow man better.

Left how? And in what way are humans any more selfish than anyone else?

Eh, don't worry. Overpopulation is starting to catch up to us.

That could be interpreted in positive or negative ways.

This is disproven simply by looking at the progress of philosophy over the years. Nowadays in many established countries, for example, it's widely considered a BAD thing to pollute, or to murder someone for no reason. There's still some ways to go, but I feel the best thing to do is to either be patient or to urge progress forward gently one person at a time.

"Benevolence" certainly wouldn't fit too many dragons I knew, that's for certain. They mostly preferred to keep to themselves like everyone else in nature and take what they needed when they needed it if taking it was possible.

This's just confusing. What's "tainted" about the ideas of humanity?

Have they actually found any physical ones? Because other than that, the closest thing I can imagine would be spirits, and... well that's a whole other subject.

I have found that the belief that dragons once existed on earth, or still do, has spread to all over the world of man. That being said. Who is to know what is real or what is myth. But I believe that they were once here. And now they exist in a plain of existence that we are not capable accessing yet. (i.e. spirits, ghost, aliens, past cultures that we don't know where they went.) There are others that believe this as well. Some are reading this now. We feel a connection with them but we can not be with them. ( religion fits in this realm too.)

Humans are more selfish than any other species on earth because we are not satisfied with co-existing with all other species. But ruling over all species. Not just terrestrial either. (This is my belief and is not necessarily right.) To bring it down to an individual level, we all have an ego. And that ego supplies us with our individuality.

I say that the ways of man can not be changed because I believe that this is the way it is meant to be and thus it is. And humankind has such great diversity and adaptability. Thus man rules!

The belief of dragons and their benevolence that I speak of in this post, apply to the friendship that I mentioned before. These are the beliefs that we share in. And they are not meant to convert others to believe as we do. It is a sharing of comaradire with dragons and each other. Much like SDB! You can choose to share in it or not.

The ideas of man that we believe taint our beliefs are those that say that dragons do not or never could exist. We choose to pick friends that have the same love of dragons that we do. That is all. It doesn't occupy our entire lives, but it is a love of ours.

And no we have not found what scientist would call definitive physical proof that dragons were or are real. But we love them just the same. And our quest to find them carries on.

Thanks for listening

Other species do not peacefully coexist either. Given the chance, every species will try to dominate their enviroment, even if it means self-destruction. Just look at locust swarms, they eat everything, mate, lay down their eggs and starve to death, leaving a wasteland behind. Humans are not that agressive. Or when yeasts ferment so much sugar that the alcohol starts killing them. The only reason why other species appear to coexist is because the environment is in a state of dynamic balance or equilibrium. Once the system (the environment) is upset, the system will try to reach a new equillibrium, by changing the number and population of species. Due to his capabilities, man has upset the equilibrium in the global system. But this system is huge and powerful and it will stabilize itself, and thanks to our human intelligence we will adapt. So, I wouldn't worry about life on Earth.

And I wish your group luck in your search, though remember that some criticism is always necessary to stay on the right path.

Hm, this might become a separate thread.
