So? That's exactly my point. They have no proof so they say "Our God/s did it!". That's circular logic, and a logical fallacy. "It's right because it says it is."

The thing is, it's not proof because they can't prove their god exists. It's far better to say "I don't know" or "I can't" because at least then you're being fully honest. :P

I gotta say Inuya, you've had me kinda jolted from the moment you came here with your first post in which you stated that anyone "who needs proof doesn't deserve to know" and "should be banned". What this translates to me is that you're anti-science and anti-skepticism. Science is a philosophy that seeks to find explanations for phenomena and one of the most celebrated aspects of it is the realization that we will never have ALL the answers. Skepticism is a basic rule of logic that states if you can't tell if something is true or false, you're supposed to assume it's false, like assuming someone is innocent until proven guilty.
I didn't feel like noting this on your introduction thread because it wouldn't have felt honorable. But arguably the most important thing for otherkin to accept when realizing themselves is how to prepare for the scenario of their beliefs suddenly being disproven. By simply waving aside the the possibility of questioning ourselves, you kinda miss the forest for the trees. You strike me as being what's called a "religious fundamentalist", demanding that other people believe what you believe but can't demonstrate, and spitting upon the notion of being questioned. You even uphold an otherkin stereotype among critics of otherkin by using the phrase "closed-minded", without knowing what open-mindedness really is. If you're open-minded, you're open to the prospect of almost any outcome, such as the possibility that nothing you've said about yourself here is true. An open-minded person would question things they don't understand and are curious about, and if I deny the Flying Spaghetti Monster because I've seen no evidence for it, that makes me rational and logical, not "closed-minded".

I'll probably be told off for this post. Just in case it's deleted before you see it I'll save a copy of it and PM it to you if it does get deleted because I feel that it's really important. It's pretty unrealistic to barge into a forum and demand respect for beliefs WITHOUT getting criticism. And that's what this is by the way; it's not "flaming", it's perfectly reasonable criticism. My opinion of people who deny my beliefs is that they're completely in the right to do so. My story is pretty nonsensical-looking and I'd feel genuinely disturbed if anybody believed me strongly at face value. So no, I can't give you the "benefit of the doubt" unless I know you as a person. I'll gladly deny your beliefs and statements about yourself for logical reasons, and in return you can ALSO deny MY beliefs and statements about myself on the grounds that they're really weird-looking. Nobody is harmed in the process of people doubting and questioning one another.

Okay...Here are mine:

I seem to be able to tell what's going to happen, if something good is going to happen or something bad, and have learnt to avoid it, this can be proven by my friends.
I also have a strange amount of strengh, for my size i can take on my dad and get him to the ground in about...10 seconds, he's taller than be and bigger.Also i can lift excedingly heavy things that not alot of people can lift.
i can see perfectly well in the dark, just as if it were the day, my sense of smell is very sharp, i can tell what people are often thinking, can find out what they're like all over within seconds of meeting them... something i find really strange is that i can tell if there's anything paranormal in a room or house, and have had many experiences or things like this.
Also can finish of what someone's gonna say in a whole sentance before they say it =P


Physical Description:
Human of course, blonde hair, blue eyes... though that would be a lie, because my eyes change colour, from a bright blue, to an asure blue, a bright green, a light green, grey, and it all depends on my stress levels.
my teeth... Well, they are VERY strong and VERY sharp... believes the marks i've left on myself when i get stressed, i've pierced the skin within about 2 seconds.

Other:

I can also growl from the back of my throat, snarl, i've also got a realistic howl that's basically pitch perfect to that of a wolves, ask my dragonkin friend
I tend to walk on the balls of my feet, and always go up the stairs on all fours... at home anyway, i refrain from doing it in public.
Not sure if this is anything but my stress levels can change very quickly, so from calm to stressed and wound up in seconds.
No patience... not a good thing, but it's still there.
On a full moon i walk more on the balls of my feet, have boundless energy, want to run around, howl, growl anything to be my true self.
At night that's when i have all my energy, none during the day at all.

So yeah... i also have a voice in my head... but let's not go into detail of what it says, or who it is for the moment.

I'm sure i've missed something out there... i'm not sure.

My dragon form is alive all its self... and rather uncontrolable. His name is Onix and he is a black dragon with a spikey under belly. I have only been in my dragon form twice, both ending in uncontrolable rage and/or passing out. I wish I new Why...

I believe he can do these things: Fly( ) breath a strange cold fire, senses of when it will rain and when someone will die, ability to take over my body when i am asleep and finally, ability to vaguely control darkness.
