Ten thousand years ago. There was a demon that went by many names. I as well any other dragon of that past life period knew him as Viscera.
This demon reigned terror all across the world. He came to destroy us so his kin could rule. The demon did not care who he killed. In fact he enjoyed
it. He offered the first dragon king a chance to escape the nightmare, and find a new planet. He very well could have, but he was the most noble of dragons you could meet. He had a dream that all creatures could live in harmony. So he stood against Viscera in all his fury. In the end he managed to take the life of the dragon king's mate, and in doing so enraged the dragon king. It was said that he wielded a weapon that vanquished Viscera, in this he saved us all, but the price of this victory was his own life, for the king infused his own life force with this weapon, and unleashed all it's power to destroy Viscera.

In this we lost the greatest lost the kindest dragon you could ever meet, he gave his life so that we as otherkin and all alike could live. The name of this dragon is unbeknown to me and Auroara. This is the dragon she wants to recall.

Another question here, including both a question I forgot to ask earlier and an expansion on it: what world was this supposedly? It wasn't Earth, or else Hyrax would have informed me of it. And for the other...

The other world we came from was Reach. That is where this event took place. As far as we know it was said that one day He'll rise again. As I said this demon goes by
many names. Viscera is what we came to know him as, that's the only name I know him by. It was said in a dream i had he was to return, and as I said before if we fail to stop him this world will suffer his wraith. That is why I tell of this it is my prophesy. You don't have to believe me. I don't think he'll be back though, if it is true his return is not until the red moon.
Which is like 20 or 30 years away. So there is plenty of life for me to live.

what made this dream special? I've had dreams where I and Spock saved the world from evil aliens. What makes yours more reliable?

This dream as Auroara said was a vision of the past. Of what could come to pass.

I recall seeing a quote somewhere once, but cannot find it right now. However, as best I recall it went: "We burned fossilized plant matter until our skies were black with soot, we tested atomic weapons in our only biosphere, we nailed our god to a tree! We are the human race. DO. NOT. F***. WITH. US."

Or something along those lines. It made me laugh, because realistically, if anything nasty DID come at us from 'out there', unless it was already powerful enough just to make its own private universe, or truly indestructible, it would be in a lot of hurt if it pissed of humanity enough.

And there are degrees of indestructible. Another decade or so and antimatter will be the boom of choice I'm sure.
