He has explained a lot more than just this and Auroara. I also know about your troubled past and how you two (three if you count Auroara) had to sneak out and escape your malevolent father. Some things that I know I really wish that I didn't but once you gain knowledge, it never truly goes away, but I believe that your brother and Auroara have their reasons for telling us all of this. Although I would like to know why as well  .
