Oh dear me... has it really come to this?
Dragons as depicted in 'history' cannot, and in my view, DID NOT exist. What we see in medieval and earlier art and story, are metaphors, and exaggeration.
It is quite likely that a number of innocent monitor lizards were indeed harmed in the production of out literature.
THAT SAID - I do believe that it IS possible that there are worlds *out there* where human/like people exist alongside dragon/like creatures. And they fight.
And, like seemingly everything else, they died and were reborn on this world, to spread stories half remembered from those past lives.
Or like myself, a barely self aware primitive carnivore with the table manners of a wild cat, half remembering enjoying the taste of carrion. Would I have known what to DO with these memories without the support of others like me? No - I would either have ended up mad and eating people in a cellar, or else written (Or told) fantastic tales about flying lizards with colourful scales...
And now to the TOPIC - Saying you hate knights is a REALLY dumb thing to do in this day and age. The few that *DO* exist, are not really up for fighting ANYTHING exept possibly with thier managers over thier spending £100000 on flowers. And the few, VERY few who call themselves knights, and hold to wearing armour and swords et all...? Ren fair kings cannot really hand out knighthoods, sorry.
