Could other dimensions then this one exist? I believe they do.

Which this one? Depending on which universal model you like, the universe could have as many as eleven, so there're plenty more other than the four that we're most used to interacting with (x, y, z and time).
If you mean parallel universes, then that's a much more theoretical question, which boils down to how you want to interpret quantum theory. Personally, I lean a little closer to the Copenhagen interpretation, which says that there are not parallel universes. Even if there were other universes, unless their existence could be demonstrated, there's not much point in believing they're there. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

Actually, the interesting thing is that quantum physicists have actually built a machine that will supposedly tell us if there are parallel universes. I think it has something to do with gravity leaks, but I'm not entirely certain because I didn't really pay attention. What I know is that even if they exist, parallel universes are parallel. They don't really matter for any reason other than the experience of thinking "Hey... That's kinda cool. I robbed a bank in another universe and got away with it. I got squished by a meteorite in another universe." Things like that. It is my personal thought--won't go into how I reached the conclusion, but the evidence is sufficient for me--that if there is such a thing as a soul, whenever the object that soul manipulates (I don't believe they inhabit physical objects, but that they inhabit the equivalent on another plane which is similar to a parallel universe aside from that these universes do touch and are therefore not parallel) dies, the soul (which has absolutely no memories in and of itself, and is simply the "spark of life" if you will, a mind kind of like a computer) moves on to another object that is brought into existence. This is not even necessarily in the same universe, which is the only significance, I think, of the parallel universe theory. But if I'm right you won't remember it after death anyway. :P _________________ Happy Fourth of July everybody! If I'm not mistaken, you two do not believe that we can actually travel to another dimension. With a force strong enough, could we possibly mess with reality as we know it???
Spelling, spacing, punctuation and grammar...all four need work. -Ragnarok _________________ you can only run so far.you can only hide so long.you can only cry so much.you can only scream so loud. but you can fight for as long as you need |

Do you mean something like rewriting the natural laws of the universe? If so, then absolutely not. You'd literally need an amount of power equivalent to that of a god to do that, and that's something that cannot be accomplished with anything in this universe. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

No. The laws of physics are fixed, they can't be changed. |

Well that does seem true, but could a force possibly make a hole or portal through the universe? I mean if you could make energy out of matter (e=mc2), a force strong or fast enough could maybe do some weird stuff to our own dimension.
And I'm bad at grammar because I'm 11.

Theoretically, that is what a wormhole would be. Nothing of the sort has ever been observed, though, and a stable wormhole would require the generation of negative energy.

Stars, nuclear reactions, basic chemical bonding, etc, all involve that particular equation in a practically infinite number of reactions per day. No.

Even 11-year olds are capable of using spell check, the shift key, apostrophes and periods, are they not? Or am I giving kids these days too much credit? _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |
