I agree I now have three classes and it is not easy. I have a Geometry test tommarow on terms I haven't had to memorize since high school about four years ago. Monday I have a test in Educational Pyschology on sections three and four. I have to do a five page research paper for ISTC 201, and it has to have a mininum of ten sites. Not only that but it is worth 250 points. I also have to do laundry, dishes everyday, and clean the house every Friday. I go to bed around midnight if I am lucky then have to wake up at nine in the morning just to get the rest done before class that night. _________________ To dream the impossible dream. |

For me it ended a long time ago. Now, it's waiting for a an externship and proposal date that never seems to get closer. _________________ "Don't mind the tail, he has a mind of his own..." |

And soon, soon (it better be soon...) I shall hopefully finish my 23 years of education and finally have that PhD I've talked about.
Therefore, there are times when education really doesn't end _________________ "People who are easily offended need to be offended more often."

Which only puts you a few years ahead of me. I should be getting my BS in about a week. Then on to a MS, and maybe a Ph.D.
Then I need to go and get a real job. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

Real Job? What's that? Following your PhD, and depending on your discipline, you get to go on to a Post-Doc (which is almost required for my field), thus more training and more time spent in the cocoon of academia. _________________ "People who are easily offended need to be offended more often."

For engineering, people enter the working world a little more quickly. I have a bunch of classmates who are starting jobs with their BSes, a few more are going for their masters, and a very few will try for doctorates after that. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |
