Well, i think the title explains almost spot on with what this is a discussion about.
I have recently placed a 3mm extender in my ear (e.g- Yesterday in about less than an hour), and am fairly please that i havn't torn the skin, and that i had about one drop of blood if that.
I am also hoping to head up into a 5 mm for the actual 'flesh tube' in about a week or two when what i have now has healed so i don't rip the skin or damage the cartolige in my ear severley.
I have already purchased the 5 mm, but am currently waiting for my 3 mm to heal up first.
But to the actual discussion and not the background of it .
Has anyone else here placed an extender/ flesh tube in there ear? If so, how many mm, how long did it take, how much pain did you have to withstand, and how did you find it best to cope with?
I would just like to get a bit more background information on what i am doing to my right ear , and if anyone else knows the best ways to deal with it all and extending it further etc.
It's interesting to learn stuff like this about eachother aswell, new facts and things you might not of known, but i do have alot of questions to ask about it . _________________ Their enchanting voices.Cry to the crystal moon.As light of silver, descends with grace. The wolves prowl restlessly.Calling to each other. |

Well, I've had a lot of trouble with my ears since I was very young, but I never had to put an extender in it... Good luck and hope your ear feels better soon!!! _________________ Blessings |

I had to look it up, and I can honestly say that the thought has never once crossed my mind. Pardon the bluntness, but I've seen people with really large ones in their ears, and it just makes them look like freaks. I can't even understand why people would want to do something like that.
...Assuming, of course, that this is the sort of thing you're talking about. If there's another kind, I don't know of it, and Google hasn't suggested anything better. If you're looking for more information, however, perhaps a board more suited to people with those sorts of interests? This seems to be a very poor place to ask such questions. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

I agree with Rags on both counts. It seems stupid and frankly, it just makes it easier for some surly person to rip your ear off. And the question doesn't seem to fit in this boards setting. _________________ May you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you're dead.

Ditto. I know alot of people who have crazy piercings like this, and when they end up in fights, they get torn out. _________________ The salmon sisters: bringers of justice, harbingers of the smelly fish <* )) ><
