Okay I am sick and tired of people, saying to ME that they are something better then others, it's like this. There are these 3 idiots at my school that said they can be otherkin and nobody else, they are Lycans according to them. Both me and Auroara wanted to tell them off, but of coarse we couldn't do it as it would mean revealing ourselves, and we we're all in public so yeah not much I could say. Any way if they ever read this Good, if not whatever. As it says I am sick and tired of people saying they are otherkin and we cannot be. True this is none of my business what they talk about, just offends me a little.
So I think that I will sit down with them today at lunch and talk to them about this, I won't come out and say what I am unless they start talking a bout how they'll do this or that to me. So I'm going to tell them strait up,
I don't take stuff from nobody, and they tick me off I'm a let her at em.
I will plead my case and be done with it, and if they get in my face about it then may whom ever they believe in help them. I haven't scraped in a good while, and I've wanted to whoop their sorry cans all semester. If they are what they say they are, then that just means that I don't have to hold anything back.

So yeah bottom line. If you're otherkin cool, just don't tell ME about who I can and can't be. As Auroara says it is not always up to us to choose our own destiny sometimes it is our destiny that chooses us.

Most who brag they are something are really nothing at all.

I know one such person who went on about how he could "take one punch, and I'd be down on the ground crying like a baby". I know I'm not exactly a superb physical specimen, but strength isn't everything. He can't think past the fact that he's twice my size and can't think past his fists. Truth be told, strength means nothing, since at one point, the most powerful man in the world was a cripple.

The point is, most people who are braggarts about being something, are most likely nothing of the sort. I doubt they are Lycans, even more sure of it's falsehood by their braging about it... Sounds like the delusions of foolhardy youth to me...

I agree with Dark Dragon. I've only met one person who thought he was all that and a bag of chips and I keep wondering if he ever disappeared off the face of the earth cause he certainly disappeared from our state (Queen would know who this was vaguely)

Strength indeed means nothing. Bragging about something without proving it in full truth and force is weak and stupid. If you can't at least back up your claim with hard core evidence that's just pathetic.

Do your best, but don't end up like these wannabe lycans who, from what I've read, can't even prove that they are such.

Being otherkin is something more, most otherkin have split personalities, bipolarism, phantom limbs or feelings. Random realistic dreams(Memories).
Anyone who claims to be kin has most or all of these, just because they are kin. The recent rage of Kinship has almost made anyone who believes they are about 80% false. It is insane. True kin don't brag about it, nor can back it up. They anger me! I sometimes wish I could destroy these enfidels.
A few of my friends are kin. One is Lycan, bipolar, active on the moon. People who claim to be vamp-lycan are just ignorant. If they knew what it ment to be kin, I doubt half would want to remain it.

Destiny is forged, however some things are left to fate.

I agree, he who braggs is nothing at all. They are most likely trying to get on someone's nervs, otherkin or not. But the best thing to do is ignore them. If you end up letting their words get to you you give them power over you. As a good friend has told me before; He who angers you controls you. Don't let it bother you. Yet if you do have a problem with these 'Lycans', you should probably talk to them about it, don't keep it locked inside. Just choose your battles wisely.
Here is an other quote I think you may have heard of before: He who backs down from a fight is stronger and braver than the one who wants to fight.; Well, something along those lines. Becareful though, sometimes one's words may be understood in a manner not intened.

This is somewhat the exact reason that the only people that know about me being otherkin are on this forum. The reason I may never tell someone in person. Some people just don't get it and I don't want to have to deal with the %80 of the people that will make a big deal out of it.

Similar to what DarkDragon said, those of whom think they are better than something often are no better than what they compare themselves to.

Fate, destiny, whatever you wish to call it, has a general plan I believe for everyone. Sometimes to those of whom are attentive to it it can reveal itself and sometimes it is as illusive as smoke. Fate can also give us options to take certain paths. I do believe that fate gives us the opportunities to be great, evil, funny, or whatever and it is up to us to choose to take those opportunities but I don't believe we are bound to it, we have a choice to deviate from the plan but the consequences can be dire.

And what does Auroara think of these three? I have yet to engage in a conversation with her so I don't really know how she takes people like this but I know you do. Tell her to at least leave some of their sanity if you let her at em'. Just enough to feel guilt and pain.
