I personally believe in a something... but the idea that it cares about every little detail of our lives strikes me as absurd. This is why the idea of a "personal" god just doesn't sit with me.
My view of deities holds them a bit distant. We live in a natural universe, with natural laws, and they don't interfere. They're more... emotional guidance than "pray and we'll cure you!"-types. Just makes more sense to me with the way life happens. |
