As an otherkin do you ever crave weird stuff as I do.
Often time I find my self eating a raw stake, blood and all. What of you have you had any weird stuff like that? Or am I just crazy? _________________ The blood of that which you beleive run deep within, if you feel this then there is no need to doubt. |

Yeah, but I was dumb enough to try to eat it that way too . Didn't taste all that bad but I found out later that I could have gotten some sort of tapeworm or something and was lucky that I didn't. Other than that what I have done is raw eggs. Now that tasted horrible and felt just disgusting, but I got $10 out of it . Within the past few years I've been looking at cattle and deer a little differently . _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. My wings carry me upon the winds. Eating raw meat is extremely dangerous and should be avoided when possible. Tapeworm isn't your biggest worry here, there are a lot of germs for example on the exposed part of the meat. That's why you always have to at least sear the outside.
As for looking at cattle differently, I have always considered cattle to be food, but it has to be processed first. I am totally at piece with the knowledge that when I look at a cow, it can very well end up as a burger on my plate. (Please note that this doesn't mean I don't care about said cattle.) |

I forgot to add that I can't seem to ever chew my food, and doing so actually annoys me and gets my jaw pretty sore after a bit. And I do end up choking sometimes .
The worst was when I was around 14. I was eating chips and I was chewing them enough to where they wern't scratching at my throat or anything while they went down but eventually I forgot to chew all together, and ended up swallowing a full triangle Dorito Chip !. Probably one of the worst pains I've ever had to go through. I literally felt that someone had stuck a fork in my throat, bent the prongs outward, and started forcing it down to my stomach. Luckily at some point it got soggy enough and broke a bit so it went down easier but it my throat hurt pretty bad for a few days.
And as you've probably guessed no I didn't learn my lesson, well maybe with chips, but chewing my food....nah. Steak. I cut it up, give it a few chomps until its in a good enough shape so it wont stick in my throat, and down the hatch it goes. Noodles: I just slurp and swallow. Fish: nope, no chewing either.
Believe it or not I actually feel sick when I completely chew my food, like my stomach needs solid chunks to break down and work off of, not mush. My friends used to wonder why I never get indigestion but eventually gave up and just accepted that I've got strange eating habbits. Perhaps not the most polite methods, and I can tidy up my manners when at a proper dinner, but on a nutshell thats how I eat . _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. I've never felt the urge to eat anything raw or acquire any other strange cravings as a result of my draconity, but that by itself strikes me as just a little strange. _________________ The statement below this one is false.

I do eat almost anything and do like almost every kind of food, except meat, which I truly dislike, so that perhaps is weird and I favor king prawns with garlic, which is rather normal I suppose. Raw meat, nah, not my kind of food. Cheese....that would be it! _________________ - power is gained through wisdom - |

I know what you mean. I had rare steak for dinner tonight (just a few mintutes ago, actually) and there was a very fleeting moment where I thought about cutting myself to pour blood on the steak...then I realized that that would be a rather stupid thing to do, so I didn't. Weird, though. |

Weird... not really.
I tend to bolt my food, like someone might come along and steal it or something. But that might just be a result of growing up in a house with dogs and cats, who always bolted thier food, because the other animals WOULD steal it.
I like rare steak. Tried it raw once, but never again because although it tasted okay, I do worry about the tapeworm thing.
I love spicy stuff... I use harissa like most people use ketchup.
Aside from that though? Nothing genuinly 'weird'. _________________ Prey, tell... |
