Well speaking from past experiences, I occasionally feel as though I have wings and/or a tail. Generally it happens when I'm too close to a large group of people or walking through door frames or somewhere esle where I am confined enough so that I can fell my wings or tail touch against something.

In fact one time I was mad so I slammed the door behind me and felt as though I caught my tail in the door, that was painful.

That must have been painful.

Speaking of painful, it has been only recently where I have started feeling my phantom wings very commonly. Ever since I was given a hint of what might have been my past, whenever I think about it, my wings start to tingle, then hurt. It feels like they are on fire, and I can't stop it, I can only endure it. Could this mean anything?

It could mean a lot of things. It could mean that we're just delusional, but I like to think otherwise. The feeling of phantom limbs can be very closely related to how when someone looses an appendage (toe, finger, or god forbid the whole foot or leg), it still feels like it's still there until you go to take a step and just fall over.

With me most often it's the tail I feel, though it's never gotten to the point where it hurt because I got it caught in something. But often enough I do feel the wings and at bed-time that can get rather annoying because I sleep the best on my back but when it feels like I'm putting pressure on wings that aren't there I tend to roll over on my side or stomach.

What it could mean is your own. All I can say is that perhaps your friend was true about his descriptions and tellings of you being dragon-kin. It's extremely rare to find someone that can tell someone of their past lives, and truthfully for that matter. But I still stand with the belief that there is still much you can and must learn on your own. Perhaps your friend was just the spark needed to ignite the fire within.

My thoughts exactly. However, based on my past experiences, things that I would like to happen have a tendency to not happen, or truths I dream of are never true, etc. So I have reason to doubt for now, since I really do want to be true to myself and everyone around me. I do have a theory on this subject though, that I plan to share when I post the best description of myself I can provide. And speaking of the tail, I have scarcely felt it, and I do not yet have the slightest clue why.

Why don't you do some reading on it yourself dragonboy. It's been posted on this forum enough times that you should have no problem finding the answer yourself if you just look for it.

That is exactly what i feel. I didn't want to kid myself, and so for a long time i ignored the feeling, putting it down to (for want of a better word..) placebo or something. But i truly believe i have phantom wings. I mostly get the pain in my right shoulder blade, which makes me wonder.. did something happen to it? Or was something wrong with my left wing so i feel my right more? Or perhaps i only had one wing?? O.o
