So? My species... did NOT breath fire. Did NOT horde gold. Did NOT have scales. DID look very different from any other species I've seen. |

What's the old saying? "There's an exception to every rule, including this one..."
You can't really make generalizations about most things, especially something with such infinite possibilities,such as a dragon _________________ May you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you're dead.

1. Humans CAN fly. Use your imagination. Be innovative. "Hm, that big scaly monster up there in the sky can fly around. That's not fair! How come HE gets to fly around and I don't!? Ooooooooh, maybe I could build something..." etc.
2. Humans can breathe fire. Look it up on YouTube.
3. Dragons don't physically exist on this world, to anyone's knowledge, and there's no gold on the spirit plane. >.>
4. Humans don't need scales.
5. Humans are, by a human perspective, the most good-looking organisms around. They don't care what other creatures think they look like.

1.They can't fly naturally, they use "tools" for many of their actions, that most of the time don't do good for the air. I'd prefer natural flying.
2. Still, they're not able to do it naturally, only by using tools.
3. Well, I agree on this and even if I'd be a dragon, I wouldn't gather gold. What's the point of that?
4. Agreed, but still, scales could be useful, since they're a great protection. If you know about the experimental dragon scale armor, you'll get the idea.
5. To dragonboy: Humans are NOT dragons, so duh, they look different. Dragons are dragons and humans are humans, you can't compare their looks and have a point same time.
6. Humans don't have NATURAL wings of flesh and blood. It'd be preferred to fly naturally, than pollute the air every second. _________________ Why do we avoid the rain? I somewhat agree with #1 and #6 (which basically say the same thing), but the human capacity to build machines is also a part of us. It's just there's more connectivity involved with the process of allowing humans to fly than with other creatures, but it's all still "natural" technically.
birds, bats, some insects -> wings -> flight
humans -> desire -> technology -> wings -> flight
At first glance I thought this would be something disagreeable to refute, but then again it's not too different from saying you'd rather walk with your own legs than rely on mechanized legs. I agree, and can't exactly argue back since it's all personal, but I prefer to look at it another way. I'm privileged in some areas that others aren't, and vice-versa; if there are alternatives available to account for the latter, I'll gladly take them. :3 _________________ The statement below this one is false.
