Live chat

I am not really sure as to where this should go, so I decided to post here. I am wondering though, does this community, or any other like it, have a live chat presence anywhere out there? I remember long ago there was a place on IRC called 'Alt Fan Dragons". Do any of you know of this? It was such a great time when it was around, it's a shame to be gone. At any rate, if such a place exists today, I would like to know. If not, may one.... come about.

I never did figure out how to use IRC.

Chat rooms, however, are a dime a dozen. This one, for example, I just made a couple minutes ago, and, assuming the msn groups are still around as they were the last time I looked (it's been a while) there are communities there. Maybe there are others, but I don't really know of any.


And if anyone actually wants to use that chatroom, PM me and I'll send you the access password. I just set it to keep out the bots, on the off chance it does end up getting used.

I've looked for dragon and otherkin related chat boxes (have been for a while now) and yes, they still do exist. SDB doesn't have a chat room and I don't think it ever will, but other forums sometimes have one.

The biggest dragon chat box that I know can be found on the IRC server

There are more, there is a box called #draconic on DALnet (irc.dal.net)
I'm sure there are also some forums who still have chat boxes as a part of their site, but those two are the major ones on IRC.

I'm on #otherkin (the chat for otherkin.com) at irc.weresource.org. Sometimes the chat there can get a bit bizarre (and at a few RARE moments, somewhat kinky ) but it's an interesting place to hang out, as long as nobody starts making certain hollow claims about "magick".

Thank you for that information I thought that they were all gone now, ancient history. Hmm, I do still have IRC, but have not actualy used it in ages, so lets see if I can still do it, shouldn't be that hard.

MSN groups has been down for some time now, the only search engine company to keep something along the lines of MSN groups is yahoo, they have currently refused to take down their groups server the way everyone else did; so you may want to check there.
